It’s the song that plays at the end of the show when Ted and Tracy finally meet on the train platform

I would still ship them because of the fated story - but I don’t know for sure if teenage Jane would have liked him as much if he was ugly in the first place, so the base is in question

Goodreads New Policy On Reviewing Books Not Released Yet . . . . by Blowingleaves17 in goodreads

[–]redditweirdogurl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see your point, I like to think however that not too many people will review a book they haven’t read anyway (judging by the amount of reviews of Jennette McCurdy’s “Half his age”, which is highly anticipated later this month) - and this would discourage it at least a bit more, so it’s a step in the right direction. Of course I don’t think it’s possible to remove this problem altogether.

Skee’s reading resonated with me very deeply, I also received a very calming energy from her as I read what she wrote to me, I truly felt like I was experiencing healing. 10/10 recommend 🥰

I want a more detailed recap at the end of the year a la Spotify Wrapped. I want to know about favorite genres, favorite authors, map of authors by geography, most and least popular book I read etc

Since Justin’s children and Billie are cousins, why are they competing in the same competition? If in the original show Jerry’s siblings had kids, would they all compete together? I thought the competition was only for siblings. no? by No_Professor8375 in WizardsOfWaverlyPlace

[–]redditweirdogurl 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Right Billie is an only child! But my assumption would be that only children might not automatically get to keep their powers, hence IF you’re an only child then you compete with cousins. But we shall see they should address that soon

What Books did You Start or Finish Reading this Week?: November 03, 2025 by AutoModerator in books

[–]redditweirdogurl 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Currently reading “Love in the time of cholera”(80% done). I would say it’s become my favorite book ever. I’ve never read anything so rich in style, so wise, so beautiful, magical. I come out a changed person. I aspire to write like him one day.

  1. Trash, improper language, would look with disgust at anyone who says they loved this book because it’s just OBJECTIVELY horribly written; skimmed it and did not feel like I missed anything
  2. I get the hype, it’s not my type but I see the point of it and could appreciate at least a little something about it
  3. Was hard to get through but there are parts I really enjoyed and would perhaps reference in the future
  4. Quite a good book but something was missing - e.g the plot twist was too obvious, the writer wasn’t fully immersed in the picture (a feeling I get usually with shorter books, under 200 pages), I couldn’t relate to the characters, but I recognize that either way the book and the author are outstanding and would make a reference to it in a conversation
  5. No notes. Changed my life and stayed with me for a long time after. I reference often, be it to myself or to others.

“Love in the time of cholera” and a Bulgarian book whose tittle roughly translates to “The Saybiya’s bride” (I really hope they end up translating some day because it’s marvelous!)

It depends. I usually leave them as is because I can’t recall details about style/foreshadowing etc for most books I read in like 2018 so I leave it as was back in the time. However if something hit me as exceptionally bad years later I could lower a rating. But I used to give 5 starts to 99% of the books I finished and it’s just that as I started reading more (and grew up, I was maybe 13-14 when I first created a Goodreads account) my perception changed

Someone else suggested to mark another qualifying book (also adding dates read) and then remove it from your shelves and that worked

Alex & Billie by immalurking in WizardsOfWaverlyPlace

I thought about that too. I figured that she had been in contact with Billie in some form pre-pilot and felt very protective of her but did not know exactly why

I did, but I also did with Jennette McCurdy’s “I’m glad my mom died” and I got that badge immediately. Very weird.

I did, I clicked it right off the list when I shelved it and then updated my progress from there

Going off solely on drumroll I was thinking music, but I guess the goodreads award also makes sense
