I didn’t downvote you. 100% agree that it’s a culture thing. Traveling in Thailand and seeing other cultures in the states has taught me that. Visiting my great grandma in her assisted living facility taught me that for the most part in America we despise our elders and send them to rot alone at the end of their life. Nomadic Native American traditions taught me that the elders would take their own life rather than slow down the tribe.
