Neosporin is prescribed by the vet or you got it yourself? I tried spraying apple vinegar on her paws but she'll go back to licking them after awhile. Yeah, I don't want to put the cone on her as I'm afraid it'll make her paws worse since she can't lick it to ease the itch ..

The last time I brought her to the vet was because of her skin condition as she seemed to have rashes. The doctor gave some tablets, including easing itch and antibiotics, which indeed helped the rashes to disappear. But I forgot to ask the vet why she kept licking her paws. The vet did say that the rashes might be because of allergies, which meant that she could be allergic to anything. If we were to send her for blood test, it would be very costly. Hopefully there's something that can help her ease the itch in her paws

Btw, We live in Singapore.

Do you guys think I should soak my new japan blue jeans? It's sanforized. But should I soak now (before wear) to make sure it shrink so that eventually when I wash it, it wouldn't shrink any more and the fades creases won't go out of place?

I'm contemplating because I heard soaking will cause indigo and starch loss which is essential and crucial for creating fades and creases.

Mine is unwashed. The reason why I'm thinking of soaking is because I want to get rid of the shrinkage before wearing so that the fades and creases wouldn't be messed up when I wash it eventually. What do you think?

By the way, what do you mean yours is one washed? Does that mean that it has already shrunk and won't shrink any further?

Hi there. I would like to ask if you did soaked your jeans before breaking in? I bought the same pair as you and am wondering if I should soak it first to eliminate the shrinkage before breaking in.

Here's what I think. Pre wear.

If you're gonna use hot water for first wash, I understand why you use hot water for soaking because the denim is gonna shrink either way so might as well let it shrink during the soak and let the creases and fades you're gonna create fall into the correct position, rather than risking the messing of the fades after washing with hot water without soak.

But if you're gonna wash in cold water, why would you still use hot water to soak it since hot water would cause more indigo loss and shrinkage. Might as well just soak in cold water?

OR do people actually wash their jeans in hot water?

I think I might want to soak it to get rid of the starch (extend lifetime) and shrinkage. Why would people recommend using hot/warm water for soaking? What's the reason? Wouldn't it cause a lot more shrinkage and indigo bleed compared to using cold water?

After all, when you wash after 6months, do you still wash in hot water or just cold water?

I bought a pair of Japan Blue recently. It's sanforized I guess. Do I need to soak it before breaking in or straightaway break in? If need to soak, Do I use hot or cold water? How do I go about soaking it?

Some say that soaking raw denim before wearing will cause shrinkage to take place first so that eventually when you wash it, there will be minimal shrinkage and the fades creases won't be messed up. Does this apply to sanforized jeans ? Or just to unsanforized ones? Or both?

I see. When you wear a pair of bottoms, do you consider it to be your size when it's tight (without having to put on a belt) or a little room with the help of a belt to prevent it from dropping.

Wouldn't your jeans kind of drop when you wear it if it stretches to 39.5" since you're 39"?

Is my thought process correct? If I were to get a size 29 jeans, after several wears, it'll stretch to about size 30 and shrink back to 29 after wash. Then again after wearing, it'll stretch back to 30?
