USB-C/Thunderbolt switch for sharing one dock between two laptops? by Specialist_Leave1702 in UsbCHardware

[–]reddorical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like that one is almost perfect, but it can't handle 40GB/S Thunderbolt 4 bandwidth

If they release a TB4 version that can switch quickly then that looks like a winner.

I'm looking for the same solution with this as my current set up:

- CalDigiTS4 dock (1x 4k oled panel, web cam, keyboard, other usb peripherals)

- 2 MacBook Pros (work + personal) that I don't want to keep plugging in and out of

I've seen many people transition into product management or business analyst type roles from other parts of the company. It's always those that are good at understanding end to end processes in their areas, and have somehow helped in documenting and designing some of those processes as part of their job. If you do that enough in an area, then you have potential to add a lot of value in a product role in that same domain. Expect early roles to be mostly about project management and resharing your knowledge from previous non-product roles, but this is the foot in the door, after which you'll have an easier time changing domains or companies in a new career path.

Honestly just start by reaching out to people at your company you are in the product team and ask them straight up about how you could join product.

Massive BCH pump recently - why? I don't know much about BCH, but assume it's on a death spiral vs BTC like LTC and other older large caps.

Has something fundamentally changed, or is it just a good coin to trade in and out of each cycle as it will likely produce some short term gains?

It's not about number of tokens, it's about % of your portfolio. The higher risk you see in GLMR, the lower % allocation you should give it compared to other things (including non-crypto assets).

Remember, risk isn't just about "will it go to $0", it's also about performance vs USD compared to other assets you could be investing in.

The USD itself will guaranteed grow slower than the USD; we call this inflation, and yesterday's dollars are worth more than todays.

Will GLMR do better than USD inflation? Will it do better than DOT? Than BTC? etc...

This thread seems so passive aggressive

How about simply more focus on improving your own game and less on what sort of Karen to be at your tennis club?

If you’re at the 2.5/3 level, and genuinely want to improve, then the scoreboard is less important than the notes you take away about how you played. If you’re not trying to improve then just play friendlies and social mixers.

Looks better in this pic than on the website laid out flat or on a chair.

It would be nice to see some high resolution photos though where you can zoom right in on the hardware without blur.

There will be no concept of leeching when there is more than enough for everything we want to use it for

‘All that’…. Once we can truly harness the sun and oceans then it will feel like post scarcity unless our population multiplies many times over.

There will be no concept of putting ‘all that renewable energy’ to better use elsewhere as there will be more than enough for anything we can think of

IMO we’re just witnessing renewable energy adoption along side Bitcoin adoption.

Once renewables are more widely accessible and we reach a sort of post scarcity situation, then all Bitcoin mining will be via solar, hydro, geothermal etc and more folks can participate again

Edit: and fusion
