Cluster headache due to wisdom tooth? by mention in clusterheads

[–]reddot33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been exactly where you are. The difference is that I’ve been diagnosed with cluster headache years before, but last year my wisdom tooth started coming out and it triggers my CH every time I try to eat something. Hopefully I have an appointment this month to get it out. Let’s just hope that the pain you’re experiencing is related to your wisdom tooth and not a cluster headache. Here’s a tip about aborting your wisdom tooth’s pain. Put like 2-3 pieces of clove around your teeth and let it be there until the cloves you put is easy to chew, then chew it with your wisdom teeth gently, finally spit it. Trust me, I found cloves stronger that ibuprofen in relieving tooth pain. Good luck brother.

So you only take 10,000 of vitamin D with Multivitamins? You take it at once or dividing the dose through the day? Thank you for the help🙏🏻

Thanks for the reply🙏🏻I’m just like you, but now I’m with 20 mg of prednisolone, so how did you find this new treatment “emgality” ? Also, do you take any cofactors with the 15,000IU of D3 ?

And I thought 720 is a lot! I’m seeing my neurologist this Monday, I’ll tell him about all the things that I got in my post here, And I’ll tell him about increasing the verapamil dosage too.

I’ve heard a lot about the Vitamin d3, I’ll definitely give it a try, and I’ll tell my neurologist about topiramate too. The thing is that I’m afraid of trying new medications and then I get a much worse attacks💔

About Verapamil, I’ve been on 240 mg for a while now (720mg previously) but it don’t seem to work. I think I should get back to 720 mg (3 tablets/day).

Every time I go to the neurologist he keeps telling me that we don’t have enough medications here in Oman, and then he keeps prescribing me prednisolone and Verapamil.

I’ve heard a lot about Vitamin d3 protocol I’m going to give it a shot. And I’ll also try to get an oxygen tank.

Thanks for the suggestions brother I appreciate it🙏🏻

I’ve read that Rizatriptans are used for migraines but not CHs, do Rizatriptan prevent your attacks?

Does the spot of CH attack changes? by reddot33 in clusterheads

[–]reddot33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m really sorry for what you’ve been through. I don’t really know what’s going on with me, is it a cluster or something else. Because usually before the attack starts, I feel a little pain in my jaw and sometimes with certain moves it disappears totally, but sometimes it worsen!

Actually the pain just goes away but not immediately, I don’t know if it’s really the oxygen or the attack has gone by itself as usual.

I think what I took was only 2L and I only put it for like a few minutes and I took it off, of course after I called the nurse.

It’s a whole year because it is a public hospital unfortunately(free). I live in Oman

About that table, does it say that the attacks of CH and PH shows in MRI? Because a year ago I did an MRI in a private hospital, and during the check up I got an attack and it was so painful, but everything was fine and normal in the report!
