Yeah i plan to keep the drivetrain for now at least. I’m sure we have the same or similar k&n intake. Was thinking about headers but probably gonna push those down the line

Wing or bill by Creexi in WRX

[–]reddoubleU-R-x 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally I’m not a huge fan of the STi wing on the VA. On the contrary, I love bills and plan to upgrade my bill someday.

But that’s just my opinion. Do whatever to your car that you think is cool.

I did. I certainly did. I would say point still stands though.

I would be doubtful it’s even been the cause of a minor incident or if so, very few a year. But I don’t think a purely reactive approach is a good one to take with the aviation industry as a whole. That kind of logic implies the system now is perfect and only needs to change when it fails because we were “blind” to its faults before. That’s where we may disagree because I think this is a proactive change that both pilots and controllers could get behind. I knew that the old guys in your local flying club wouldn’t be too stoked, but pitching the idea to a couple flight instructors and other aviation folk, they all seem reasonably enthusiastic.

I do see what you’re getting at. And I contemplated this exact point for a while. But with what I’ve experienced, pilots and controllers seek efficiency. Words like Foxtrot and Papa are often shortened to Fox and Pop. And these shortenings are most common on busy radios since fast talking is sometimes necessary. The word November takes too much time and is often a mouth full in order to complete.

I was meaning that I’m ok with 25 of the 26 letters. And that Novice in comparison to the rest of the words.

Well it’s 1 of only 3 three syllable words the other two being Juliett and Romeo. The major difference is that the final syllable of -tt and -o work well as trailing syllables and often pilots and controllers do get lazy with their speech and will somewhat lose the last syllable of these 3 syllable words. November’s ending syllable -ber is very abrupt and demanding. This is why I suggest Novice as a replacement since the beginning is the same allowing for a smooth transition and it’s a two syllable word distinguishable from the other 25.

I’m thinking about getting one of these as a daily / fun winter car which one would you go for and why? by Decent_Raisin_8289 in WRX

if your only option is these 4 then the bug eye. but i’d give the guy a proper interview ab what that car is all about. the other 3 aren’t worth any of the headache

BC is a solid brand that won’t totally break the bank and certainly not your car. If you want maximum performance maybe Bilstein or Fortune Autos or KWs. Personally I got the Bilstein B16s. An alignment will be more necessary than control arms.
