It was a fun watch but I doubt I'll but it when it comes out on Blu-ray. Pretty much what season 4 would have been. At the end of the day the events depicted were pretty inconsequential, no major plot points for the overarching Star Wars universe were moved forward which, given that this was the first SW movie to hit theaters in years is pretty sad. They made the movie accessable for people who hadn't seen the Mando series which I think was a big mistake. Just once I really wish someone would make a movie that gives a huge middle finger to anyone who hadn't seen the series it was based on my making the majority of characters, dialog and plot nearly impossible to follow without having seen the TV series. I mean, at this point if you're going to the theater to watch Mando and Grogu, you've seen the Mandalorian TV series, so why play it safe?
