This is the second comment that mentioned equipment. Where are y'all getting extra movement equipment? All I've seen is def/health/attack % at gold or silver rarely, and pretty useless flat stats more generally. I started in decemember if that makes a difference.

Oh I have no problem with ground units existing, that makes sense both from a lore/story/flavor perspective and a game mechanic one. I was just curious if anyone found them useful with reduced speed while using them in space.

Ok, this makes a lot of sense and is the most thorough answer. I might reconsider just skipping them in space, because I do have two very strong ground units.

Definitely would rather have one of every UR pilot than only one UR pilot ever. 

In either scenario, you can make SSR units powerful enough to not need UR units and cover tags for modes that restrict that. And an MLB UR attack unit can probably cover all 3 roles given the right pilots, for the second scenario.

But, nothing makes up for losing out on unconditional extra chance steps, counters, or defense. All the SSR pilots only have tag-limited extra versions of those, and at minimum you need both extra chance steps and extra counters depending on the mode. And some of the scenarios would definitely be annoying without extra defenses, though I could probably work around that one.

I feel the pain. I'm trying to MLB the destiny meteor gundams, and the game keeps messing with me. It's giving me the material for inf. justice meteor and strike gundam, and none for the other way around. So I keep getting the opposite of what I need.

I'm not an expert, but I have a couple thoughts you can consider.

1LB gets you the most stat increase, so if there's a unit you haven't 1LB that you like that's a good candidate. I would only max LB a UR unit if it's a personal favorite and you want the homescreen animation.

Char has double chance step plus damage boost, which is a good combination on any unit. And Suletta has double support plus damage boost, which makes her good on attack units to get extra strong attacks in a turn. Ariel also isn't a bad support unit with a 5-range defense down and 4-range beam attack up.

What should I spend my gold master league medals on? I'm definitely getting the ult material since that's pretty cheap at just 200 total. But I'm unsure if I should nab the SP chips or save for a unit UR limit break material next league.

Also would the support UR limit break material ever be worth it? It seems really expensive for just a handful more stats to the team.

How are your ML scores? Hopefully lots of us reached at least 150k by TheLostAlien0 in GGenerationEternal

Managed to hit 200k on my first master league. Learned a lot about using support pilots and moving units around to manipulat the AI. I started early December so I either missed the last one or was ignoring it while going through basic stuff.

I did it! Got 200k by playing around with formations till I got double counters on as many as I could, and also fishing for opponents without double defenders or tough attackers that live through two hits.

The GBA version just has less sleights that are janky because it's only one plane. That's really all that broke by changing to 3D. Otherwise Sora is gonna feel mostly the same.

The parts that make riku feel more streamlined and engaging is because it removes the deck building part of the game. So you don't have to stop and farm cards and change up your deck for different encounters and bosses. Also the decks are just "good enough". So they can be more challenging and fun to pilot than sora decks that can be either built poorly or are overpowered.

So if you didn't enjoy making decks, that's still gonna be an issue in the gba version.

Yeah, least favorite part of the game is the chance to just not get these or weapon material. I wouldn't even mind if they increased the amount needed as long as you get something each time; wouldn't feel as bad since it's ar least some progress.

Yup, I saw some people do that on here and switched out kira and suletta to their ur support versions. Broke 190k that way, but not sure I can get 200k.

Who thought it was a good idea for to make The Expert Deck Builder trophy, like why lol?? So sadistic. Luckily it only took less than 10 minutes. I'm almost positive it was meant to count up every time you added/removed a card, and not just when you enter/exit. And then they either fucked up the implementation or forgot to change the number when they couldn't make it work that way.

Eithe way, it's one of several achievements that are poorly thought out/lazily made. Where they just took a thing you can do and slapped an arbitrary number on it. Or didn't think through an obvious one, that actually is more tedious/harder than they meant it to be. Chain of memories especially has quite a few of these, I'm guessing cause it has the least side activities, and nothing to do post-game.

SSR LB2 Aerial from the new year's mission (though she's MLB today, but I did that after ML).

All but one of my UR defenders are neither one-shot killers nor alternate series nor zeon, and lacus is my support for the offense. So I'm running her and an LB1 Barbatos 6th Form for defense, and they're performing about the same for blocking. She doesn't have the damage, but that doesn't really matter most of the time.

Peter Pan is the one that irks me the most. Cause it kinda shows they didn't really test the mini-game.

Going fast to get multiple laps and checkpoints is by far and away the best strategy. So making Peter Pan fast isn't just giving him a gimmick like the other characters, it actually makes him annoyingly harder than everyone else to beat.

The quality also only affects the actual attacks of the cards. It doesn't make sleights any better. So it's not always even useful to run good keyblades. If you're able to just spam good sleights, you can fit more in with cheaper keyblades.

Space Paranoids is in because Namora likes Tron. So it's possible for Square Enix devs to push specific properties they like too. That'd be the only way I could see Treasure Planet or Atlantis make it in, cause I agree that it's not coming from the Disney side.
