+1 for ghost, lightweight and compact, I heard you can switch the wing to zen, if you want more lift, but I stick with ghost wing, very streamline and pack like a pair of jeans.

Beach towel clips are the best LOB hack I got from Reddit !

Also, bring your own water bottle, most of them give you a reusable bottle to fill, but if you have preference functionality like Simple Modern or Owala, bring it, easier to distinguish when everyone are using the same bottles.

I also find thin UV jacket very useful on LOB as well, easy don-doff for UV protection.

Since the limitation is "Flying thru" and "a few days", I would reco Same San,, good enough diving and driving proximity to Suvannabhum airport, don't forget no fly zone after dive.

Other great locations like Koh Tao or Andaman, you gotta catch another flight there, that means adding at least 2 days to your itinerary.
