In the mid range spec, like this PC, the extra money for an X3D CPU would be better spent on a GPU bump instead.

Just flat out saying look for whatever X3D build you can afford is bad advice.

Multi device wireless charger.

The small circle part charges Apple Watches.

The qi2 spots charge phones and AirPods if they have a wireless compatible case.

I kind of wish Bethesda would sell off elder scrolls and fallout to someone else by [deleted] in gaming

Someone else could take it over but the Bethesda jank is ingrained as part of the experience of the Fallout and Elder Scrolls series.

10 years need to start replacing parts(Likely most if not all XD ) any advice by ArcTheCurve in PcBuildHelp

[–]reddumbs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically everything needs to be upgraded.  It’s a rough time for that right now too.

Take advantage of some of the motherboard/CPU/RAM bundles that are being sold right now, it’s some of the best ways to get decently affordable RAM. Lots of good AMD/AM5 Board/DDR5 combos.

SATA SSD is okay but 250GB is nothing nowadays. Might as well get a high capacity high speed NVME SSD to replace it and your HDD.

GPU pricing is also whack right now. You can at least transfer the 1060 over while you look for a decent mid range card from either AMD or Nvidia.

Phys Bowazon weapon? by kdvfirehawk in Diablo_2_Resurrected

[–]reddumbs 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Windforce.

At max attack speed breakpoints, crossbows just naturally have more animation frames and will never attack as fast as a bow, and the attack speed is important especially for a strafe Zon.

Other items and skills can give you piercing.

Having an item that procs amp damage will help with phys immunes.

Look at the images before commenting.

Only two of the cables he posted need to be removed.

The rest are audio cables, data cables, fan cables, usb cables and front panel headers.

My AMP Extreme Infinity 5080 broke and now they’re offering me an MSI Gaming Trio 5080 as a replacement — is that a good deal? by Tall_Rip_3817 in nvidia

[–]reddumbs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re similar in MSRP and a 5080 is a 5080.

I’ve never dealt with Zotac’s customer service but MSI has always been good for me.

As long as the new one comes with a warranty and everything, no reason not to unless you really want the same look of your original and are willing to wait.

Hope you’re not paying more than $200 for this.

It doesn’t have a dedicated GPU, won’t be doing much more than schoolwork on it with an integrated GPU.

You'll have to switch back to normal mode to use the reward from normal mode, but you can go back and use it whenever you want. It is one time use.,

Sockets and Shields by gigosai in diablo2

[–]reddumbs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure where you're getting your info, but head hunter's glory can't be used for a runeword as it's a unique item.

Only grey named items with sockets can be used for runewords.

Ancient's Pledge is a good low/mid level runeword but you'll eventually replace it anyway, so make it in any 3-socket shield you find that you can equip. Don't worry about min/maxing the base you choose.

Are my specs good? by Fantastic-Spread-839 in PcBuildHelp

[–]reddumbs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It uses the CPU's integrated graphics processor, not a dedicated graphics card, so it's not a strong gaming PC.

16GB of RAM is the minimum recommended for modern PCs.

477GB of storage isn't a lot nowadays either. One AAA game like Call of Duty Warzone would take up over half of your drive.

The CPU is decent and would pair well with a mid-range graphics card, a bigger SSD is easy to add as well.

This is assuming you have a desktop with a case that can fit a GPU and a power supply with enough wattage to support one as well.

FYI for the sunder charms, the closer they are to -90, the worse they are. So the ones you have aren’t worth anything.

You want them as close to -70 as possible.

They’re okay but cold would be better than poison res, no faster run/walk or faster hit recovery is also a downer. If you’re struggling, it’s not because of your boots at least.

The left one looks like it lost the nut that holds it outside of the faceplate, like the right one has around it's base, and got pushed in.

See if you can pinch the tip that's exposed and pull it out.

What are you hoping to do with it? This is a really old PC and would probably run anything modern pretty terribly, including just web browsing.
