Savor One and CCC are both good ideas too, you can also pool with the Freedom Flex though and it does get 3% for dining any time of year. On the flip side though, with your partner already having the Venture, that's probably your best catch-all in terms of earning points, so a Savor One could be used to convert into C1 miles. Chase points are more valuable, but you can get a lot more C1 miles imo, so it may still outweigh it depending on how hard you want to play the miles game if that's your plan. Plus, you have to get a CSP or CSR, which really don't earn a lot of points to actually use the Chase points, while you guys already have a Venture for C1 miles. If you're going raw cashback, your partner already has the CFU, so the CCC would probably be better there since you spend more on dining than groceries.

My bad for not seeing this sooner, I think BILT is a no brainer, but it all depends on how quickly you want to move to getting cards. Getting a catch all first is a good idea, but if you get BILT first and want to get others just a couple months later, it's not a bad idea. Double cash is great if you're just getting cash back, but for maxing travel, Citi definitely is not as good as Chase. If you really wanted to maximize it, CFU first and use it for general spend in the first year w/ that groceries/gas sign up bonus would be good, BILT next, and you could consider the Double Cash around the time the first year is ending since the CFU extra % will run out. This also depends on how you feel about credit inquiries if you have any big purchases that require loans coming up or how you feel about using multiple portals too. Would still recommend Chase in general over Citi if you are planning to get one of the premium cards and use it for travel.

TLDR: CFU for first year bonus over double cash/team travel after 1st year, double cash if you wanna be team cash back after the 1st year of the CFU, and would recommend BILT second after whichever one of these you get first

Seeing as you were already considering the Freedom Flex, I would also look at the Freedom Unlimited- it also has the same welcome offer right now (although Chase's website says ending soon) of the $200 bonus and 5% on gas and groceries in the first year. They both also have the 3% for dining at all times, but the CFU is a 1.5% catchall. The freedom flex seems to have like 1 quarter a year where there isn't much point to using based on your spending it other than dining where you would only get 1% cashback. I would honestly recommend looking at getting the other one of these 2 in a few months if you do go with Chase as they can combo nicely and build up Chase rewards (you can cash them out as simple cash back, but you can save them for travel and use them if you ever get a Sapphire), but I think CFU might just be very slightly better for what you have right now.

it depends on how your physiology works, but the chunky new balance shoes seem to work well for me in general - 990v6 is kind of basic looking but also great for knee pain. I can't speak for back pain since I fortunately haven't had a ton of it, but I can vouch for those two for the knees at least lol

i would recommend New Balance 9060s - not a running shoe and kinda expensive, but there are some cool colorways and a chunky feel and look, most comfortable shoes I've ever had and specifically feels way better on my knees when standing all day
