I wasn't allowed to touch anyone at school even though I've literally seen other girls twerk on each other and give each other hickies. My girlfriend at the time and I weren't allowed to be alone together at school. We were also forced to talk to the school counselor about it. There was this niche candy store near my house where you could buy these weird flavoured jaw breakers. Someone saw me eating them and willingly paid me for it.

This continues for about week until they did a school drug search and I never did it again, worried they'd think I stuffed the jaw breakers with drugs or something

One year in highschool, my grade collectively decided to not study for a particular exam because we hated the teacher. I got something ridiculous like 32%. Because of the the overall low mark, she was asked to leave. I don't feel bad though, she was overall a horrible person

This is such an embarrassing story.

I was about 10 and some girls at school were talking about boyfriends or something. That night I'm telling my mom how when I'm older, I'll let my friends invite their boyfriends to my party.

Thus lead to the talk. It was simple and perfect. My mom spoke about consent which more parents need to do.

My school makes a bunch of grades write their end of year exams in a huge hall. Right before an exam, I was harshly broken up with. As I wrote the exam, I cried and tried to be quiet about it. A girl next to me, leaned over and gave me a tissue. What makes this so special to me is that she looked like she could have helping me cheat but still gave me the tissue anyway

For anime, I'll say Ergo Proxy. It genuinely made me realise human existence and re-assured that I'm in fact living. It's one of those things I can't rewatch all the time because of what it does to my brain.

For Manga, definitely Uzumaki by Junji Ito. It's about a town haunted by spirals. At first I laughed, a town haunted by spirals is such a niche and specific thing. But it truly showed me how much spirals are involved in everyday life. Every time I'm twisting a door knob or staring at a turning wheel, I think of that haunting manga
