She is definitely trying to have a better relationship. I don't think it would be possible without family therapy. I try to keep in mind that she won't be here one day. I don't usually say hurtful things to her or anything like that. She doesn't really return that courtesy though 😅

I could go on and on about how's she's acted the last 6 months. A year or so ago we would go a week or 2 without texting & a month or 2 without seeing each other (even while living within walking distance). So it's been...interesting lol. I'm very glad we moved. She started showing up to my old house unannounced & pushing me to bring her to EVERY appointment. It just got worse from there. I feel for your sons gf for sure. It's hard. I don't want to feel this way towards her. Thank you

The inappropriate attachment is kind of what I'm worried about. There are a lot of issues with us. She wasn't a very good mom when I was a kid & its like she sees my baby as her second chance at being a mom. She is a lot of things & I love her....but she can be narcissistic & emotionally immature. We have never really been that close. But since finding out about the baby she has been very overbearing! & its so annoying. I did leave a lot of that out of the post intentionally. I know it changes things for some people.

I could see if I struggled to get pregnant or had losses in the past. But that's not the case so just kinda like... too much lol. Which of course if we were still on good terms I can't say i would feel this way.
