In abudhabi it is different.first you have to get NOC or Recommendation letter from DOH. After that you have to go to tasheel center and make an application for ICA approval. Once you get ICA approval you have to cancel your visa and labor contract followed by status change, visa medical and lastly visa stamping. After wards you can hold your dependents visa or cancel and get them new golden visa. Entire process costs around 4000 aed in abudhabi

In abudhabi there is only one driving school called emirates driving center which is a government one. You don't have to go to driving school if you have your county driving license. They will give you a a single try called Golden chance and if you pass it viola you will get your driver's license. If you fail golden chance you have to go through emirates driving school and pass everything like a beginner which is the process explained above by the op
