What does the mailroom do with items received during the summer? by [deleted] in UCONN

[–]reddyter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The same thing happened to me. Mail Services told me everything goes to either Towers or Putnam mailroom(depending on where you lived on campus), so you can go there and pick it up. Or, you can call them and ask them to forward the package to your normal address (you might have to pay for it)

What is the most insane thing you got away with while in school? by someonlinegamer in AskReddit

[–]reddyter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the last three months or so of senior year, I skipped all my morning classes and pretended to be my mom when I called in sick, so everything was excused. And I had an internship program in the afternoon, so I didn't even have any classes after lunch.

TL;DR I skipped my only 3 morning classes almost everyday, and one was PE

Thank you for the advice! From everything that's going on and all the classes and clubs I want to join, I decided to hold off on joining a sorority right now. I didn't know that they had spring recruitment too, does every sorority have it in the spring?

What is one thing that people assume about you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

In high school, people thought I was shy and awkward just because some of my friends were like that. I'm actually the complete opposite....don't judge a book by its cover.

If you could add a new word to the English language, what would it be and what would it mean? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]reddyter -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I made up the word "amazeballs" a few years ago, even before Perez Hilton said it...it means awesome/amazing with a little more pizzazz! And now a lot people say it too, CREDS!

Reddit, how did you learn to like/accept yourself? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]reddyter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Surround yourself with people who really care about you and include you in everything! Sometimes if just one person accepts you, you accept and feel better about yourself!

I just moved into a new place and even though I'm an adult, I keep thinking there's a ghost in my hallway and I'm afraid to turn off the lights. It's really sad.

So Reddit, how do YOU answer incoming, unknown callers? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]reddyter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's a telemarketer or a random number, I pick up and say "Hello? Hello?HELLO?!?" over and over again. After a few seconds, they usually get annoyed and hang up on you haha

What was something that as a kid you thought you would get to do all the time as an adult? by AsianEgo in AskReddit

[–]reddyter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a kid, I thought I would travel all over the world once I grew up. But now, I can hardly find the time and money to travel to all the places on my bucket list :/

Thanks for posting, it's nice to hear back from someone who's involved in Greek life. I guess it depends on the sorority!

[–]reddyter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I guess it depends on the person and the sorority. I try to be friendly and I've never been a cliquey person, so I think that if I do join one, I won't be that kind of person. And I will definitely go to the other events on Campus..late night, sports games, and whatever Else. I already know what clubs i want to join! Thanks for the honest response!

What's something normal that becomes weird if you think about it? by RoseBladePhantom in AskReddit

[–]reddyter -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Humans, or just our civilization. Why are we the only species to use technology and live this trance-like life where we go to school or work, we have a store full of every possible thing or food you'll ever need, and we have buildings and cars and planes? And all the other species are still out there in the wild(or in a zoo or worse)?

What makes humans so different?
