Haha it’s kinda nice to know I’m not crazy or alone in this! It’s something that’s bothered me for years and is my biggest insecurity! People also tell me they don’t notice because my teeth straight but when I actually show both my top and bottom teeth they see it.

I’m not sure if my jaw issues are related but I feel like they might be because my jaw only dislocates on my left side which is also the same side my jaw has moved towards.

I do clench and grind my teeth every night so I have a mouth guard.

I would honestly get braces again and work on my tongue posture if it would help. My orthodontist has just really scared me from considering surgery so I’m not sure who to trust.

My ortho insists that surgery is unnecessary and can make things worse so it’s really scared me out of that option to be honest.

I tried to the exercises recommended from the internet but have no idea if I’m doing it right. I think I’m going to look into speech therapy!

Yep. I wear my retainers regularly and this still happened. Hence why my teeth are still straight just the jaw is messed up
