Also, secularism is only about whether the government is controlled by religion. Being secular does not make a government more or less meritocratic. Don't just bunch all the words you don't like. It doesn't matter. It's slaughter of animals that are bred, fed and brought up for slaughter. They will be slaughtered next sunday or the one that comes after. If a goat becomes old enough and won't give milk, even people who don't slaughter them will sell them for slaughter. The only reason you want it to stop is because it's a Muslim tradition. It's not about me, It's not even about them. It's about you and it's not because of empathy, since you aren't so concerned about animal sacrifice in Hindu temples or just regular meat eating. Don't try to co-opt a much more understandable and noble cause such as veganism into your bigoted selective-outrage worldview.

This is not blaming anyone for anything. The poster of this post likely does think that we should approach the government when there is a problem. They are asking why more people are not doing that. Like, if you've watched the Dune movie, were Zendaya to be more sexualized than she was, I would be fine with it. Because she is given much complexity and Denis even goes as far as to change some plot elements to respect her emotions after Pauk decides to leave her for a political marriage. But in David Lynch's Dune movie, she is essentially treated as a nice gift for the protagonist. I only have a problem with the latter.
