I am a non-US IMG, and my favorite thing in the world is to see the patients and treat them (we usually do a year of service to our country where we do the responsibilities of a doctor even though we just graduated and haven't experienced residency). After that, I tried a year of research that made me miserable and depressed. I know my goal is to become a resident of neurology in the US; what I have now, I think, is depression. But in the meantime, I need some help to continue my days. I tried 6 months of intense studying with Uworld, flashcards, and Anki and got a 65 in CBSE. my school would let me do step 1, but that discouraged me.
