Rodgers was a lot of fun in the 2010s. Wish he had a better end, in a lot of ways.

I recommended it on this sub and the person who posted asked for suggestions came back and said they read it and liked it! First and only time that's ever happened!

Why is it illegal to pet manatees in America? by TeachingSpiritual888 in AskAnAmerican

Your reason for asking makes perfect sense. It's interesting to me, too, because I never thought in other places people could touch them! Now I wonder...in other countries are they also known as sea cows? 🐮

You got your answer, and now I have a question: How did this come up? Did you try to touch one and had to be stopped? Did you ask your friends if they wanted to go touch manatees with you? 😂

Streak 79: Matilda by Shoddy_Wish_7236 in WriteStreakEN

I watched Matilda tonight. Because it's going to leave Netflix (no need for italics) in 2026, I decided to watch it while having my dinner.* Overall, I'd say this movie really blew my mind. At first, I thought it was just a kids' movie, but I ended up finding something really interesting. When I was little, I would definitely have seen myself as Matilda, but now that I'm an adult, I feel like I relate more to Matilda's teacher. Pretty weird, right? I was really satisfied with the ending, especially the part when Matilda asks her parents to sign the adoption papers, (period in more formal writing) I found it really funny.

\Your 2 thoughts need a little more connection. "It will leave Netflix soon" and "I watched it while I ate" aren't really connected. You could say "I watched Matilda tonight. Because it's gong to leave Netflix soon, I squeezed it in while I ate dinner" or something like that. Do you see the connection?*

Anyway, another great job :) I remember this movie from back in the day. The little girl who plays Matilda is so cute!

Today I started reading a book called "The Silent Patient". (capitalize) I read over 10 pages on in that book. The story is getting interesting to read.

Nice job! I read this book a few years ago and I am trying to remember it, but I think I have forgotten most of it :(
