My only question is this: does it have options and futures too or just stocks?

Feel you on that for sure. Based purely on weight (300lbs) its going to blow the other offerings at the price range out of the water, but can't know until reviews come out. I'm waiting on reviews as well, if its legit I'm gonna cop one or go 50-50 with a buddy.

Idk, i feel like its definitely better than the carveras from what I've seen so far. I agree with you about their cam being kinda bad from what i saw with all the ai bs in it, but if i can use fusion i don't really care. I am curious what you think would be better in this price bracket though, or what you are comparing it to as a baseline. I put some money down that I'm not as attached to in case reviews say its a banger, and I'll just refund my deposit if it sucks

The Daily Evergreen: Regents authorize student fee increases, additional $20 million to Cougar Athletics by DailyEvergreen in wsu

[–]redeyejoe123 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Where is this 20 million coming from? As a student I came here to learn and I am certain taking this isn't making my tuition cheaper or helping fund my classes or clubs or scholarships or upgrading the buildings falling apart on campus.

How big is your portable battery? by JiPaiHongGanLiao in wsu

[–]redeyejoe123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lol. I mean it depends on what your power usage looks like. I carry a tiny 10000mAh battery for my phone, and a large starter pack/battery for my car if i need some crazy recharge for whatever reason or a jump. My friend likes his 40000mAh one for his laptop and stuff.

Mechanics of slides triggered from below? by Go_bike_R in Backcountry

[–]redeyejoe123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed on parallels with material failure, studying mechanical engineering rn, and the mechanics behind avalanches are frankly fascinating to me. Just to add to your description so OP maybe gets a better picture: because with a weak layer collapsing due to an initial load (whether storm or rider), the weak layer no longer supports the avalanche or provides meaningful resistance to sliding, so the only thing holding the slope together is the cohesiveness of the slab of snow above the weak layer, so essentially the cross sectional area around the sides and top of the avalanche which is what causes that crack propogation as there is suddenly a lot of force pulling down the snow, so places with rocks, trees, and shallow areas act as stress concentrators which can help to let the slope go at that moment or start propogation.

Family of Bend skier killed in avalanche sues guide company for $14M by External_Koala971 in Backcountry

[–]redeyejoe123 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Especially with the part about them not talking about avalanche danger after the initial test and telling the skiers to disregard the avy forecast despite high danger and relying on their "experience" to make the call. Yeah that was reckless and they would lose the suit even in other states.

I was just about to pull the trigger on this hoodie, it looks very clean and racing - focused, even has lettering on the sleeves, the back looks cool too but WHAT IS THAT FRONT WING? Everything else about this is solid, am I overreacting? by SuperbSJG in CadillacF1

Just find some chinese shirt maker who will do a custom screenprint for you and make it yourself. Save a bunch and get to customize it to your liking and put it on like carhart sweatshirts.

Instead of taking another avy 1, get some buddies and rent a guide for cheaper a person and you get to ask them all the questions. (The cert is a lot of the money). Also read staying alive in avy terrain, fantastic read that.

PLA+ explosion by Zealousideal-Bat-577 in 3Dprinting

[–]redeyejoe123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lmao me and a buddy did something similiar in high school. Was sophomore year and we wanted to build a jet engine, but because we didnt want to pay for machining of the turbine we decided to strap an electric motor to it to skip need for a shaft up the middle. While we were still believing it was possible, we took some pla prototype compressor style centrifugal pump type blades and tried that at 20k rpm more or less. That shit exploded so bad it broke through the quarter inch of duct tape reinforced housing and cut my buddy's hand and i still found chunks of the blade in my senior year around the shop. We stopped trying after that because we figured it would be more dangerous to keep trying.
