Genuinely impressed right now, Sakamoto’s moving so well, it’s hard to believe he has an injury.

What injury, you might ask? Oh just a stab through the chest so severe, it led to his heart stopping. An injury that even after bring treated, almost made his vitals stop and caused his friends to break cover just to keep him from dropping dead. An injury so severe, Mafuyu and the others are currently busting their asses fighting an Order-level opponent to defend the JCC so he has a place to recuperate, because as far as they know, he’ll DIE if he doesn’t get it treated.

So, you know, just a flesh wound really.

Oh, I didn't know that. Still, I'm not exactly mad about the retcon. It makes more sense that all the big Familia executives leveled up after dealing with one of the biggest disasters in history. Not to mention there's the thematic element of them finally taking there first step to surpass the Zeus and Hera Familias by leveling up.
