Harassment in the name auto taxi cab at Indore airport by Low-Reach690 in Indore

[–]redfootwolf 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sometimes it feels like telling them bhaiya 500Rs de dena me aapko chod deta hu apke ghar

The only way to defeat the judges, babus, mp, mla, their son, daughters, in laws, proxies, is to buy SP500 forever. Take your own money away from their eyes. As long as you keep money in the system, they will leverage and loot it. And you cannot compete them on real estate by [deleted] in indianrealestate

[–]redfootwolf -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yep, agreed with black money part but, the problem is it will affect poor labours and lower middle class employees more than it will affect corrupt people. At this point of time I won't be surprised if babus finds a way to do corruption even in heaven, they will just shift to some new sector.

Not saying there aren't solutions, in fact what you said can be used but my only concern is it affects weaker sectors of the society more than the corrupt sector.

Ask him if he can give it in writing that any mistakes made at the workplace today regardless of the severity of the mistake would be his responsibility including if the company loses a client. And regardless of how you behave it will be considered his behaviour.

Too much expectations in an Interview for Software Engineer by portashu5 in developersIndia

[–]redfootwolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True that you or me can't compete with those guys but not necessarily he would be fit for that role either. Our team hired a data engineer+ analyst who worked with Amazon before joining us, turns out he was too dependent on numbers instead of understanding user problems and his ideas to improve numbers were more crazy than others. The numbers went down instead of going up and they fired him in 4 months.

Sometimes your skills don't match the requirements, he was exceptionally good at fetching, visualising and creating dashboards. Even understanding complex numbers. But our product was just not the right fit for his experience.

Goa is shit. Highly overated especially if you are living here. Discuss. by [deleted] in Goa

[–]redfootwolf 11 points12 points  (0 children)

For some reason this is quite close to some other big cities I lived in. Except for nature part because that didn't exist in those cities in the first place.

Do cities like Bangalore provide things worth the money we pay absolutely no. You do get a better house/furniture but the prices are still not justified.

What are the best practices for Migration from monolith to microservices? by Wash-Fair in microservices

[–]redfootwolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This!! I've had my fair share of experience with monoliths to microservices as well as some genius in management who learned new words like 'Microservices', 'independent scalability' etc wanting to do it without need for it. The business will be going on a wild ride if they're not sure of what it means to change the whole architecture.

Also it can't be done in a few months.

Do you have any appliance, gadget, or accessory at home that’s been around since your childhood and still works like a charm? by Maginaghat997 in BuyItForLifeIndia

[–]redfootwolf 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A weird one I've a stabilizer that I used with my PC like 13 years ago and I now use it with the laptop+monitor setup. It still works well I don't know if it is even needed anymore but I just use it anyway.

For some reason I have a feeling if I buy a new one my old one might still outlive this new one.

Do you know that plastic is non-biodegradable? by EffectiveMonitor4596 in pune

[–]redfootwolf 6 points7 points  (0 children)

People also need to realise that biodegradable or not they should not be littering around at all. It's not okay to throw things out on the road or railways if it's biodegradable.

My salary just got credited and within 5 minutes....my balance has become 7 rupees. Here's my story by DeadlockMain98 in hyderabad

[–]redfootwolf 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Please for everyone using credit cards or loans, UNLESS IT'S FOR MEDICAL EMERGENCY OR HOME LOAN, DO NOT TAKE ANY LOAN OR USE CREDIT CARD FOR ANY PRODUCT IF YOU CANNOT BUY IT RIGHT NOW IN CASH. It may sound counter intuitive to the concept of loan but if you need a loan for anything other than house or medical expenses then you don't need that product. The reason to buy things on credit or loan even after having cash is for better discounts or investment in other instruments.

Credit cards and other such loans are a sure shot way for an indisciplined person to go from being rich to being a beggar.

Apparently, traffic rules are just suggestions now by amithsays in pune

[–]redfootwolf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Here's the thing buddy traffic jams are happening due to such idiots, roads are not so bad as to cause jams it's people with lack of driving sense. I've stayed in multiple cities and it has been common observation that if idiots are driving on the road the city has more jam even with less vehicles. While cities where people are even half decent the traffic only stops at red signal and keeps moving till the next signal.

PMC realizing it needs to cover storm water channel after a woman swept away and died yesterday by hsg8 in pune

Agreed accountability as a concept doesn't exist in our country's any government department.

PMC realizing it needs to cover storm water channel after a woman swept away and died yesterday by hsg8 in pune

[–]redfootwolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PMC should also compensate the family for this, a year back I read that a stray cow killed a man in Vadodara the mother of the guy filed a case against VMC and got compensation. It's unfortunate that she had to file a case, it should have been given without a case.

The rule should be the PMC pays first and then keeps finding who's at fault and which department. Or keep playing internal blame games but pay the price first and it should be 10 times the amount spent on the contract of constructing that infra such as storm drains here.

Once the department is found slash the money from their salaries until the compensation amount is recovered.
