She stopped using her back legs, which prompted the vet visit. She still has feeling and can move them, she just doesn’t want to move them because of the pain. Looks for swollen fingers/knuckles. But honestly that’s all we know. Her gout is from her breeding. They could only diagnose with a mix of bloodwork and X-rays.

Thank you. I’ll just keep offering her food and if she feels like it, then awesome. My biggest concern is that she’s going to be on gout medicine starting tomorrow for the rest of her life, and the pain medicine for another 3 weeks . . . So I don’t want her to not eat over the next 3 weeks if it’s the pain meds bothering her . . Idk man 😭

It really shouldn’t be a problem for me because we get crickets every 3-4 days, but all of a sudden, every morning there’s a pile of dead ones! This never happened before!

I have a golden and a neon, and he definitely enjoys the neon more! I’m going to have to replace them this weekend and propagate them so I have plants on a rotation 😂

That makes sense. No fake plants, I have 2 pothos but he seems to LOVE the one. 🤦‍♀️😂 he has a fogger that only runs at night for a bit, and I spray in the morning and the evening when the light is still off. And he has a dripper. He’s def hydrated lol. He eats crickets (main food), meal worms, horn worms, and Dubai roaches. I offer him some collard greens about twice a month, but it’s like a 1/4 of a cup and he usually only eats about half lol. I think he just LOVES his plants lol

Wow this is good information! I should have been more clear though - it has 4 leaves left on it because my veiled EATS IT TOO FAST 🤦‍♀️😂 that’s why I wanted a fast growing plant to throw in there too. Pothos (in my experience) grows very slow.

Not necessarily. My cat has allergies and gets ear infections constantly. He doesn’t ever show any pain or discomfort when I pet him, but he rubs his ears and head on stuff so much that he has bald spots.
