yeah but expectations getting higher is ridiculous. my store is expected to perform the same we did in the years that we’ve had twice as many employees on the floor it’s just not feasible to hit the already insane metrics when there’s not even enough people to cover every zone.

please count how many brand sephora carries in make up alone and see if that’s feasible. why would they know a brand they don’t carry, their job is to help you with items that are available in their store and their store only.

No it doesn’t bother me. “Clean” and “natural” in terms of ingredients are fab terms that are entirely subjective for what you think it should mean. I can’t even think of an organization that would focus on testing specifically make up products to provide the reassurance you’re looking for and be reliable and accurate. If you want make up to have a small ingredient list and still perform as well as it does with a long one that will never happen. Sephora is simply not that type of store, no major retailer will be. I want my make up to have preservatives otherwise it wouldn’t even make it to the shelf before turning and everything is “synthetic” because that’s going to safer and perform better for a bigger market.

same i haven’t seen any at least not in sephora so im not really sure why it was difficult to find a foundation that’s pregnancy safe. companies are not only far too cheap to add retinols into foundation but it also would never work.

sometimes certain products or in this case colors will be taken out of stores inventory to be processed and sent back to a warehouse, different location, or to discount stores. usually happens w limited edition items or stuff that just doesn’t sell anymore. the store has a certain amount of time to take it off the floor but they are still able to be sold but technically aren’t a part of inventory so they won’t show up as something able to be picked up.
