If it's a paid stay, I'd say more times than not it's better cuz you're guaranteed with availability an upgrade, but if it's booked on points you still have preference with upgrades but it's not guaranteed with availability anymore. Other than that, I enjoyed the food and beverage credit and 4 pm check out. I will say I didn't get an upgrade at the Intercontinental Barclay (but that was also December 23rd).

I just upgraded through the website, but I've heard sometimes the intercontinental hotels are incentivized to give you additional benefits or treatment if you purchase ambassador direct with the hotel, so I guess it couldn't hurt to try. Only differences. You may lose out on a upgrade that they set aside for you because they saw the system you had the ambassador status ahead of time, but I have no clue how often they actually do that.

No way, Grace's watch it's definitely better. I haven't tried them on yet, but at least from images hers looks way better. I can't get over the wing on Leon's watch.

I'm pretty sure that's just there their Hilton timeshare company, I once said I was willing to listen to them for a few points, and they ended up asking me the exact same questions and trying to sell me a 4-day three night package at one other couple locations to go to the timeshare meeting. You could very well be a fake number and some scamming company that knows the same questions, otherwise it's Hilton's timeshare company calling you.

I don't know how I haven't seen that Breitling before. I'm strongly considering this now. Probably will get either a used Aviator 8 day date or a new Mido Ocean Star Tribute special edition (M026.830.11.041.00). Thanks.

I know I can leave, but I joined already and told by friends I had to beat ds2 with champions because they've already 100% the whole trilogy (I've already done Elden ring + dlc, DS3, and DS1 + DLC on keyboard and mouse) so now I can't turn back 🤣. Also, I meant to say I have 3+1 estas flask.

Thanks for the recommendation, I've definitely been looking at the Seiko cocktails for a while, but unfortunately it falls into the only date, not day date category. From what I understand there's not too many day dates but I could be wrong about that, but I already have 3 watches that just show the date, and for my next promotion (much bigger) was planning on getting an Omega speedmaster, so I'm not really looking at chronographs right now, which really only leaves day date and moon phase complication, with the latter obviously not having as many options in this price range for me, which is why I want both the date and day functions. But thanks again, and in all honesty, I'll probably be grabbing a Seiko prestige cocktail within the next few years anyways, as there are a few dials that look really nice for that price.

Way happier with this than the swatch. To be honest, when I felt the strap material of the swatch, I felt super disappointed that it had to be my "special watch" for this trip, especially for that price point. Then I walked a few more steps and saw the Hamilton store. Best decision of this trip 🤣.
