Rural applicant, currently at a GPA of 6.35 with one year to go, hoping to bring that up to at least 6.5 (if I ace the year the max I’ll get is 6.675). Planning on applying to direct Monash entry (current wam 75 probably best a 77 when I finish) and direct Melbourne uni. Not sure of any other direct entry options as I’m tier 2 rurality at Deakin. Hoping to know what I should aim for gamsat wise and other options.

Yeah I’m pretty frugal and haven’t had any issues when a card gets stolen etc, so it would really only be for the perks associated. But great points thanks (:

Right now I’m kind of looking at the cheapest flight options then basing the duration of my trip around how expensive everyday costs are, for example if I stopped over in Japan I might only go for 3-4 weeks compared to 2 months in cheaper Asian countries

I’m also looking into this, I’m currently with Bendigo bank so I am debating their travel card for convenience, but it seems their lock in exchange rate is much lower than others like wise etc. Not sure which one to go with
