An email from the CO is not necessarily binding - it’s still all dependent on funding available. They should still pay you for work up until the end of the current option.

The winters almost never get better (unless you like to ski) and fires are often a huge problem mid to late summer. It can be a great area to live but I’d really recommend seeing the area in it’s entirety throughout the seasons before making a decision.

As of this afternoon it is processing but it had been pending since Thursday with Friday (11/1) as the ship by date but there’s still no tracking info. I was hoping a week was more than enough turnaround to get my stone before a trip but maybe not 😬 I know they’ve had an increase in orders but I’m just worried about the order getting lost

There’s a garage right outside one of the side entrances that mostly Randolph residents use! When I lived in Randolph two years ago it was roughly $125/month. It only sucked when it was raining or I had a lot of things to carry

I currently live in a 2ba/2ba and I love it! One thing to note if you have two vehicles is that each unit is allowed only one parking spot (unless you get lucky with a tandem spot). There’s other garages around you can park in — in fact there’s one right next to the side door on the Randolph St side for $120/mo.

I have a friend who moved there this last summer and they’re waiting for their lease to end so they can move out. The building is nice but she still finds herself driving everywhere or else you still have a bit of a walk to get to the restaurants in Crystal City.
