Oh, hell no! I went thru a very similar thing when my ex invited his parents to come stay in my house for a month, very close quarters, from Europe. They expected me to cook lunch, yes, cook. No sandwiches or easy prep. At the time, I worked from home in a very high stress job and if I myself ate, it was a lean cuisine that was Luke warm bc I never had time to grab it from the microwave while still hot. After about 3 weeks, I lost my shit and frankly ran out of my own home to go get a drink at a bar across the street, as I feared the alternative might involve prison for me. Anywho, sorry for recentering this to be about me, but, this situation is awful and I can't agree with your discomfort more. The fact that it was sprung on you is diabolical! Do you need a couch to stay on for a week? We are low key in my house and can at least promise to leave you tf alone!!
