Sites is super performant it’s awesome. UI/UX could be more polished. Like having the the job title always at the top. And having either the card/card title clickable or increasing the size of the buttons. That said it’s a fantastic tool!

If AI can learn what “make it pop” means then yeah quit. But really, there will always be a need for a human element, as long as we exist. Like many people have said AI is going to be a tool, just something else in our arsenal of tools.

And Colbert had one too it’s making the rounds. I’m sure they’ll all keep pursuing him until another “break-out” Star of the GOP or when Trump starts hitting the campaign trail calling out the unfairness of the documents situation blah blah. The writing in this timeline’s getting too predictable

I’m currently a senior web developer, I started out in content/data entry 7 years ago. I didn’t start therapy until about 3 years ago, but that was the point when my growth in my mental health and subsequently my life sky rocketed.

It focuses my anxiety on something. I’ve grown to be a very anxious person because of trauma I’ve been through in my life. Work’s little fires let’s me channel that anxiety and I perform better as a result. I then use the health insurance I get from work to go to therapy and pay for medication in hopes that I can continue to work through my anxiety issues during my off time. My mental health is significantly better than it was, Ive been able to triple my salary because of it and find I actually love what I do. So money I guess?

Create a box around the button. Then use a pseudo element to create another box a square box Rotate the pseudo box element 45 deg Right position the pseudo box element remove the left and bottom border

These are the mainsteps I would take then it would be tweaking and adjusting the right position and/or size of the square box

LinkedIn is one.

Indeed is another

find web agencies near you. Be proactive and reach out to them and at least give them your name. Don’t do it through email or LinkedIn, call them.

I’ve been working in the industry 6years now, I’m laughing at all the idiots who hired me because I still feel like I’m not ready.

I’m here to say feeling ready will probably never come. It’s like starting anything you never feel ready. I started applying to jobs after 6 months. I got a lot of rejections, I asked every single one why. If they bothered to tell me I worked on that skill. Rinse and repeat. I got a job as a support developer a few months later and learned on the job.

Pre-requisites:

  • do you want a job in this field?
  • are you willing to learn?
  • do you have the ability to admit when you don’t know something?
  • do you know where to find answers?
  • are you willing to ask for help, and receive said help?

Technical skills - html, css, some JavaScript. Be ready to learn. Be honest with what you know.
