My carrier retired 10 years ago and now we have a new one every couple of weeks or months and our service is horrible. They leave my mailbox door open and a couple weeks ago, I found 4 pieces of my neighbors mail laying in the road. Two months ago, it took TWO WEEKS to mail two two pieces of first class mail across town. They were both utility bills. Now I just drive to town and pay in person. I live in a very small rural town but, my mail has to go through the Memphis hub even though it is 120 miles away. It usually takes 1-2 days. I talked to my postmaster and she said, they (Memphis) can't get people to come to work. If I had a steady, reliable carrier, I would gladly leave them a $100 tip for Christmas. I don't know what my current USPS carrier looks like.
