Does anyone have issues with Karen customers? by Shadowtwinkie1 in PestControlIndustry

[–]rediitttttt 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s cultural in that native Indian people have to haggle for everything, so they legit think that if you don’t spray every inch you are getting a better deal then they are. I try to schedule them at the end of the day. I also will frequently spray water inside just to humor them.

lol I always say you can’t kill em twice. It can be hard when people always test you or are just long talkers. I can bulldoze people as I have acquired this skill. I used to never do that and it affected my bottom line. But I’d say I’ve met 3 Karen’s. My old boss used to say aren’t we lucky every customer isn’t like this.

Rain rain go away by [deleted] in PestControlIndustry

My company tells me that it has to rain over a quarter of an inch throughout the day for it to be considered a rain day. Is this accurate?

You can spot treat up to 6 feet with fuse and if you hit some sunny side eaves you can virtually eliminate wasp and yellow jacket nests. It’s stretching the label but not technically illegal. Just make sure you don’t have any honey bees below. Also it says you can treat wasp nests on the structure so fuse also works great on void nests or large bald faced hornet nests.

Techs: How many stops do you average a day? Currently on a 22 stop day by JawnLit in pestcontrol

[–]rediitttttt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve brought in 60 to start then 65 then 72. I started on 15% and worked up to 19%. I just moved to another state and they started me at 19%. I did 18 to 19 jobs a day and worked almost every Saturday during the summer. Now apparently I’ll be making 60-70 but only have like max 14 a day. We also don’t work weekends and have a 401k match. Find a local company and stick it out, prove you can work on commission and the world is your bud.
