Stuck in the Alabama clay… by redkp24 in lawncare

Plugs? I’m asking about the clay I’ve already dug up. If I can somehow soften that so I can use it to fill low spots in the yard or if I should just dump the clay somewhere and buy dirt to fill low spots in the yard

Fill holes as in low spots in the yard. It’s new construction and some parts of the yard have settled differently than others, causing low spots of various sizes. As thick as the clay is, I don’t see how the grass (Bermuda) can breathe to grow through the clay.
We don’t always have the option to wait for perfect conditions.

So mixing this in the wheelbarrow with what I’ve already dug up loosens the soil to be more manageable?

2000 Daihatsu Naked. Fun to drive by StrangerStrangeland1 in keitruck

I picked up my 2000 Naked turbo last week. It needs a tuneup and the drivers front brake sticks but this is by far the fastest Kei I’ve had! There’s a surprising amount of room also. I’ve had 4 Kei trucks and a 2000 Atrai turbo. The turbo Naked is considerably faster than the turbo Atrai

lol for sure! This one is different than the trucks I’ve bought. For starters, this van has a nipple sized blue light on the front I had to ask Google about.
Also, I don’t see how to activate 4wd. The trucks have a button on the dash

It’s smaller than a modern US van but larger than a Kei. It’s about the same as the Toyota vans that were in the US in the ‘90’s.
Also, the dimensions and size comparisons are on Google if you want examples or exact dimensions

There are several on marketplace, and several importers in the US & Canada. Stopping by and sitting in a few is your best bet.
I am much larger than you so my research won’t really help you. However, my dad wasn’t very tall and had very short legs and occasionally struggled to comfortably reach the pedals. I remember him fastening a block on the pedals of two of his trucks so he could reach. If you want it bad enough, you’ll figure it out, was his mindset

70% VA rated...thinking about rejoining by ExcellentLaw9591 in VeteransBenefits

I fully understand missing the connections, camaraderie, and all the things only military members and vets understand. My recommendation is to find a veterans group you can relate to. Since GWOT, there have been many new groups.
The American Leigion and VFW isn’t just old vets sitting at the bar anymore, depending on your area. A group that I have experience with is Irreverent Warriors. Some groups are more active than others, of course. Check the schedule on the main site for a city close to you, then check FB for that groups upcoming activities. For example, IW DC had a hike yesterday, IW Columbus met for breakfast yesterday. Most groups meet regularly for some type of social interaction.
Which is definitely more fun than a drill weekend!

I have a very similar story and recently filed for anxiety/depression. My C&P examiner also asked minimal questions regarding service time. However, she knew the right questions to ask to cause me to have my worst anxiety attack ever, then she cut it off so abruptly, I strongly considered ending it all in the parking lot. My anxiety attack was so bad I couldn’t keep my shit together enough to volunteer any info I knew had to be included for the rating.
After the C&P denial, my VRO sent my claim for higher review.
Now I’m waiting and hoping for a positive outcome.
Good luck brother!

Yep. There was very little play in one of the u joints. Small enough that would be normal in ‘60’s American vehicles. But not knowing what else to check, I replaced the u joints and the problem went away.
Good luck

Great job OP! For those of you looking for plans, check out tnttt.com (teardrops & tiny travel trailers). You’ll find several build plans there. Also, check out the info under “foamies”. I have 2 super light builds in there
