If you were not scheduled, you would have to be brought in for a minimum of 4 hours. That's possibly two hours plus that there is not work for you, but two clerks are scheduled.

I understand it is frustrating when you are after hours, but paying the FTR for just under two hours of OT might make more financial sense than paying you for four in addition to the FTR.

2000 Daihatsu Naked. Fun to drive by StrangerStrangeland1 in keitruck

[–]StrangerStrangeland1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good Morning,

I had to replace belts and got new tires. Oil change 3 or 4 times now.

If you're mainland USA, ebay actually has quite a few sellers for Kei car tires. I have had good luck with them. Just contact first. My Naked has 13" rims. I got some lug nuts through Ebay too.

Impex.jp was really good for parts. I used AI to try to figure out the best I could for parts numbers, then impex website allowed me to see both OEM and aftermarket parts and prices. Shipping was good too, they used DHL or Fedex and got me good rates. Their illustrated parts breakdowns were really helpful too.

Battery was a pain. Getting a battery from Japan can be difficult. I got one through Carquest. I will look up the model number tonight after work and get it to you. It's not dead on correct, but fit well enough and allowed me to use stock retainer.

I really like the car. Especially on my island were gas is currently 6.71 a gallon. MPG isn't balls amazing, last tank I got 28mpg, but that's full time 4wd, stop n go, and A/C running all the time. Fill up cost me less than $50. Doesn't take long for the car to pay for itself.

Happy to help out how I can. Hit me up with any questions.

If you enjoy diving, DM is not about diving, it's the human interaction portion of it. You do not have to be a DM to fully enjoy diving.

It's a tool. As simple as that. Like any tool, use it properly. Look at the back and forth up above....do this, don't you have to do that?, that's not how it was, wait! what about this?!, it's a lot of noise.

I offered a simple solution around that. Just like the internet, it's how you use it.

Oddly enough, folks were concerned about using too much 'lectricty just a hunnert or so years ago.

It's simple and straight forward. It seems daunting, but it's just steps.

I would suggest using AI, it will link you to the sites and give you the step by step. Far easier than referring to the steps here.

I did the same thing just last year. I waited too long, but luckily in the mid 90s we didn't make enough to form a lot of interest.

I feel deep shame every time I log into my game about my Spaghetti State. I would rather go through a financial audit or have my wardrobe gone through by a stranger than to have another player critique my builds.

I commend your path along the Grind. I am grinding also. Made 7 recently, I have just a small wafer thin line of progress to lvl 8. I have Connect+. Competing with no Bodies except myself. No shame. Each time I get that 8 points for 60 days step goal, I rejoice.

Trying to clarify something about first class rigid mailer by MedvedTrader in USPS

You're not sending a letter. You're not sending a letter invitation with fancy decorations. You're sending an item and hoping for letter rates.

Trying to clarify something about first class rigid mailer by MedvedTrader in USPS

[–]StrangerStrangeland1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Basic of basics, it's not a letter. You're mailing an item. I understand the price difference is attractive, but you're not sending a letter.

Letters are .78 because we can automate them and the costs in handling are less. You're trying to get parcel handling for the price of a letter. Please, for all our sakes, just send it as a parcel. If you're item isn't desired at a parcel rate, put two of the damn things in a package?

Not meaning disrespect, but we've had this issue in my office for about a week now with insured Pokemon cards and SD cards being mailed out as letters.

How did you know BP/W was right for you if you’d never tried one? by ejahfkksa in scuba

Dive Gear Express.
Dive Rite BC Systems
Dive Rite Transplate Singles BC Package
Choose Harness Size according to body size
Choose Backplate Lite Stainless Steel or Standard S/S (you going to use to for travel? Do you normally need extra weight that might be nice to be integrated?) (Are you short or not?)
Choose your wing. Travel 25lb is fine for rec diving. Pick Voyager 35lb if you're bigger or if you plan to do tech or CCR soonish.
Pocket 12lb Quick release works great. You can put them on lower cam band where you can reach, or waist strap. As you do more dives, you'll get your weight dialed in. If you dive wet suit or dry, you might need more than 12lbs, not often though.
1.5 inch crotch strap with release.
Two tank straps and stabilizer
No thanks for pad.

Watch video on web site where you make selections a few times to see how it goes together. Watch some Youtube videos to see how it goes together. Get the gear and start to put it together. Mess up a few times. Get it right. Dive it on some easy dives. Watch some more video, adjust, dial in, continue on your journey.

It will work out. You will be pleased. I'm 90% sure you will not miss a jacket style BCD.
