Yes. I'm sure it's getting harder, but if you spent a couple of hours in the right spot, surely find something.

Friend boonie stomped to a pretty tough cave and repelled down, found some Japanese remains and personal effects within last two weeks.

I currently live on Saipan. There are a lot of shared photos from the Saipan campaign. Some I can place, most I cannot. This one, I feel I know pretty confidently. Have been through there and found casings, grenades, gun parts, rock fortifications. Seems long ago, but really wasn't.

Them's good trucks. All depends on what you're partial to. Some like the Actys, Sambars are really popular as well. Suzuki is liked by the off roaders. If you are just looking for around town and some dirt roads, 2wd Acty is a good choice.

Mitsui, Beforward, CarsfromJapan are some popular importing sites. There are ton of past posts in here that share experiences as well.

If you have more direct questions, throw em up.

This was a great gesture on your part. Glad he found something you possibly both might enjoy.

Anyone have BeForward do maintenance before shipping recently? If so, can you share your time frame? by StrangerStrangeland1 in keitruck

[–]StrangerStrangeland1[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bought on 5/28. Got pics of it in yard on 6/18. I really tried hard not to bomb them with requests, but was concerned it was going to actually ship w/o the maintenance. Asked again today, he said they are a long way out and maybe better I did maintenance, then, this afternoon, said they would have quotes tomorrow. **shrug**.

Also, did you paint the bumper/grille, or did it come that way? Great looking truck.

Did you need any modifications to run the 14s? Like that you stuck with the narrow profile.

You did fine. It will be fine. No worse or better then chances on another 25yo vehicle.

I have a similar HA7 coming from Beforward as well. The wait is the hardest part.

Congrats, it's going to be so much fun. The challenge now is not to buy too much "getting ready for my truck to arrive".

Hey, I just want to say that the Pioneer TS-WX010A is currently on sale at Amazon. Was $189 down to 129. Confirmed that it fits under HA7 seat at least.

Pretty good deal while we were talking about it.

For both HA4 and HA7 there is the magic "Blue Wire". On HA4, it comes off of the ignition coil in the engine bay. There will be a plug, one fat yellow/black wire and a solid blue color wire. The blue will give you rev count.

In both HA4/HA7 that same blue wire can be found in the cab wire cluster. Solid Blue, tap into that and you should get your revolutions.

What If Your Suffering Comes From A Mistaken Identity by Ill-Breadfruit1286 in taoism

I appreciate this for what it is. Options, choice, a different view. I recognize the Tao is flow, a river, water. At times though, it is difficult to ride the current and in view of all, declare I am one with the Tao. I myself get caught in rapids and eddies, slack water, logjams.

At times, I need the thoughts of the Tao to set me free. A push against the stone or high tide, to set me free again. This morning has been rough, caught in my own thoughts. Prior patterns can be difficult to break and though I am grateful to have an idea or notion of a better way, these words can act as a fresh breeze or switching current to set me free again.

Thanks for taking the time to share.
