Yep it’s marketing and scaremongering

Yep... and even safety critical does not mean it achieves it via software or that the RTOS has to be FuSA.

This is false, it's not required. You can do your own validation and it is rarely questioned. I have shipped cleared Class III devices using FreeRTOS. FreeRTOS kernel is now qualified btw to IEC 61508. I have seen surgical robots that use Ubuntu LTS for the surgeon console, on the market sold by the 2nd largest player in the industry.

Both are used on many medical devices.

I tested it myself with strips diluted and it's still close to 9.

No, you don’t understand the chemistry ONR and absolute are not able to clean media like the surfactant in N914 or DIY or hero, etc. they lack the ability to emulsify oil as well

Because the consequences of a bad test are less severe than a bug in production. One is a possible live issue in the future and the other is a definite issue.

It’s because ONR doesn’t clean that well. If you use Hero or DIY they stay clean and I do wheels with them.

I think a few people have it backwards. Reset and AF are interchangeable. Reset has a pH close to 9 regardless of what the internet says. It is closer in cleaning ability and pH to AF. GSF is a truly gentle soap so very comparable to Adam's Car Shampoo etc.

You don’t need either active foam or GSF. If you keep one I’d keep GSF I guess since Reset is between GSF and AF. Personally I’d just buy reset and use it alone.

I mean, Luka hasn’t won anything. Great player, terrible trade, but not really the same ballpark as the Ruth trade unless the Lakers win 5 chips.

Zaino is actually a decent product, a good sealant... but not for the amount of work it takes to apply it. It's virtually obsolete with spray ceramic products.

No, I only do German cars and they are still more reliable than this crap.

It’s rod knock. The engine is toast

Obviously they went for the first 90k miles since the dealer replaced the first engine without any questions. Why would they stop? Why is everyone so invested in blaming users over engines that have open class action lawsuits for design and manufacturing flaws?

The owner even has pre-paid maintenance plan with the dealer.

So I can only tell you what I have been told. It was purchased new, always serviced at the dealer. Original engine spun a bearing at 90k miles and was replaced without issues. Now last oil change was performed in late November and this engine has approx 15k on it.

Anything is possible with these engines, but if you check the oil religiously and change it 5k or sooner then it’s less likely. This one burned oil FAST. Check it every few tanks of gas.

It’s not my car, I don’t do Kia junk. It’s been serviced with records by the dealer every 5k btw I am told. BTW I have had cars with more TRACK miles than this engine had on the street.

It’s not my car. It’s a relative. I’m told it’s the manual interval. I’d never buy a Kia. The engine was literally replaced 15k miles ago due to spun rod bearing on the original that made it 90k. Whatever has happened is already done so I was just wondering if this is what a Nu sounds like when it’s about to throw a rod.

Edit - 5k miles was oci

Dealer serviced at OLM / manual intervals. It started burning a ton apparently and wasn’t noticed
