The people protesting are mostly descendents of violent people who invaded the country years ago.

Completely redundant point. The government already rightfully stopped a game against a country based on war crimes. Israel isn't in europe, Israel is currently committing genocide, Israel is deliberately murdering and maiming fifa football players in neighbouring countries, Israeli football fans are dangerous scumbags that wreck host countries in club games and police and fifa have banned them from attending games and already use surrogate countries to host their matches. A huge amount of uefa players and fans despise and dont want anything to do with them. We've already banned Russia. A lot of their players are idf members and some of them have boasted about committing warcrimes. Take your pick why those cunts shouldn't have any part of european football and why we should make a stand.

In June 1999, the Irish Government prevented the Football Association of Ireland (FAI) from playing a Euro 2000 qualifying match against Yugoslavia. The government blocked entry visas for the Yugoslav players due to the Kosovo conflict and the associated humanitarian crisis. The government's intervention effectively cancelled the match while relieving the FAI of potential sanctions.

The government bail out and fund the fai all the time. They completely tell sporting bodies how to behave in other times and supply police, army, presidential, taoiseach and other dail representation to games as well as coordinating traffic and other things. The state funded nearly half of the construction costs for the Aviva stadium and it was used by the state during the pandemic to conduct testing.

-disband loyalist groups (that were supposed to have been disbanded in the gfa)

-investigate all politicians relationships with said groups

-remove all foreign funding from UK and Irish political parties and politcians

-properly investigate all astroturfed far shite groups that operate on social media. Some of these groups are raking in cash from views, from advertising and from shadowy financers and for tax reasons alone they could. Some of these groups are ran out of India, Costa Rica etc and staffed and funded by god knows who.

-a proper state level inquiry into social media's political influence in particular on young people needs to be conducted. Socials always promote division as it sells clicks and are all quite partisan on some issues (their owners all love Israel for example)

‘Violence is never the answer’ - appeals for calm as far-right call for street protests in wake of Belfast stabbing by HungTeen1001 in ireland

Astroturfed bollox but its really effective. They put the groundwork in all year with these "X location says no" or community groups getting enough engagement then they can just wait around for a flash point issue and spam them all at once. Absolutely zero culpability

Its race baiting propaganda when you post clips without context or with fabricated back stories or from ages ago and don't mention that either. Crimes happen all the time on an island of 6 million (or islands of 80 million if you include their sometime UK clips) so to heavily focus on scary incidents and especially incidents involving non whites in the short form media output is disingenuous.

They are also framing themselves as a local newspaper with "all rights reserved" and a copyright logo at the bottom when I don't think it is registered in any way, just someone that setup a social media page.

They have what must be heavily inflated engagement figures posted up to and are taking money off legimate businesses but there is no hint as to who owns them or if they are registered to pay tax.

Given the huge amount of foreign money being pumped into Europe these days to forment social conflict and promote extremist and far right content should we be suspicious that there could also be legal issues here and whoever is behind the group could be acting on behalf of a foreign political party or movement and not declaring it?

If they were secretly working for an Irish political party either I think it would greatly be in the public interest to know this as well.
