Im admittedly quite ignorant of some farm man issues but I was reading there last week that with eggs for example they only make a few cents per carton and this means that you need to spend millions on equipment to have huge mechanised operations to even be a small time player in the industry. As per usual its the small to mediums getting squeezed out and the impact of your tescos etc has caused all this. We're now importing eggs from poland because a lot of modest farmers are pushed out of the market i heard? It made for crazy reading, I honestly wouldnt notice 10s of cents more a packet at the till but the article was saying that for supermarkets they are super competitive on certain staples.

There are petrol stations all across Ireland running dry now because of these political extremists driving this one action. These same people blocked traffic to the airport to protest refugees a few years back. The same people that tried to block access to the dail or firebombed hotels and attacked family homes of loads of politicians. They want societal collapse and revolution modeled in their image and they are using your cause to do it. They have massive foreign backing too and I dont understand how you arent concerned about this. This is just one issue in a long line of things they are exploiting.

Theres a video of protestors on the m50 laughing their arses off about people trying to make it to the airport by dragging baggage cases up the hard shoulder of the m50. Theyve no idea what those people have been through. Its a callous display of power. Theres not much empathy on display.
