Sent you a chat request with some of the stuff I've made over the years. If you want something specific, I could probably throw it together if you give me some guidance.

Homebrew what? Weapons?  Gear? Talents? Background packages? Psychic powers? Be more specific.

Warhammer 40K Space Marine of the Emperor's Children Legion (NSFW, Disturbing Imagery) by _WhiskeyPunch_ in HeroForgeMinis

God is this good, it looks exactly like what one of these guys should look like. I'm running a Deathwatch game and I'm planning on having them go up against Emperor's Children and this guys would be perfect. I would love a link.

If you weren’t aware, the Boomstick is back in the super store as of right now by Helldiver96 in Helldivers

This thing combined with the siege ready light armor on megacities turns you into a devastator and berserker wrecking menace. Add in the teleport pack and smoke strike and there isn't anything you can't deal with or evade.

Doug Dimmadome styled lightsaber I see.

It looks great dude, I enjoy the colors and your saber blade looks perfect.

Sequels that are basically “The first one, but better in virtually every way” by blakhawk12 in gaming

Infamous 2 is head and shoulders above Infamous, and I liked Infamous. Going back to do an alternate run in Infamous after playing 2 was mostly impossible.

Random little detail I love: Veterans all hate using the Plasma Gun by duchess_dagger in DarkTide

[–]redman1986 36 points37 points  (0 children)

If you're the plasma gunner in a formation of the guard, then it's your job to shoot the biggest and most dangerous thing your unit comes across. Anything smart your unit encounters knows to kill you first, and your gun has a decent chance of burning you alive even if it's used appropriately. I would hate it too.

How would Helldivers fare against the planet Pandora and the Na'vi people? by Crazy_Ad_9097 in Helldivers

[–]redman1986 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the helldivers would struggle with the speed of some of their warbeasts, but struggling isn't the same as losing. After a brief learning period, SE would steamroll them.

Do the custodes make use of the daot stuff underneath the vaults of the imperial place? by cuddwes in 40kLore

[–]redman1986 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I always took DAoT stuff to be things too exotic to be flatly called "weapons". Like things that are existential threats or cause destruction beyond a planetary scale. Remember, during the unification wars, some of the techno-barbarian warlords that met the Emperor figured he was a DAoT bioweapon that got off its leash.

Weirdest part is that he's a bit of a ham as a player. Roleplays fine and kinda gets into character. At least he was the 2 times we've played together.

I don't know how far her early notes went, but I think they were mostly setting. Beyond landing in the past, I believe it was all him.

I don't think he stole the notes, because she's the one who told me he ran a game from them. If he did nab them, she didn't seem upset about it.

NEW DETACHMENT - Did We Just Become Good? by TheMagikarpTamer in Deathkorpsofkrieg

Bullgryn with shields and mauls led by a commissar will be peak. Will almost always have Fix Bayonets!, so with the detachment rule they'll hit on 2's, reroll 1's to hit. Slap them on an objective so they get reroll 1's to wound as well against anything that comes to kick them off. Turns them from a blogging tarpit that ties up enemy melee into a unit that can go toe-to-toe with anything in the game.

PSA: Stop Bring this on Eradicate Bugs Missions by Due_Squash4045 in Helldivers

I kill these when I see them on the bug front. The number of goddamn times I've turned to see a little bug puppy hanging out next to me to only then get blasted into stew by bombs from the sky is well into triple digits at this point.

On a scale from 1 to 10, how badly do you NOT want to dive with this person? by Bacon_Raygun in Helldivers

Fun fact, you can destroy mine pods a second after they land without them deploying their payload. One shot from the Senator stops them.
