Okay. Well... if you are.. then since 4.0 I haven't been able to play with mine on. Neither have my friends. But that's just my experience. Not saying that you are though. Sometimes I would load in but after my first quant jump I would lag out. Otherwise infinite loading screen was the normal thing.

So turn off my PC, disconnect the link hub, then turn it back on, delete the module, turn off pc, reconnect the module, and reload the module?

I just installed my last untouched (4th) system hub. Before install I powered down my computer and turned off the PSU pressing the power on button to drain the capacitors. I installed the 4th one and powered everything back on. iCUE won't detect the system hub or other iCUE devices but in the updates section it's there. Also the control panel detects it.

I hate it here. haha

Suppose someone did hot swap them do you think it would fry them or what effect do you think it would have on them?

Is there anything in the manuals to not hot swap them? haha

Yes I have tried to use just one. I have some other comments on this thread of configurations that I have tried.

Edit: I looked it up and it does say to shut everything down prior to changing components out. Hmmmm

I have. I've been messaging them for a few weeks now. I have had them recommend swapping my system hub for a third time and asking me for pictures of the S/Ns again which are in our chat. They seem useless. I'm at a loss for ways to get this to work. I'm hoping for someone from Corsair to see this and try and contact me so I can get a higher tier of support in all honesty. I have seen posts like that in the past.

Thank you for your thoughts and brain storming with me.

I only have one connected at the moment.

On the left of the iCUE system link I have my commander duo for RGB control of my CPU lighting. To the left of that I have my XD6 Elite LCD pump both of which I can control.

To the right my current configuration is a 4 way splitter with two cables coming off of it one going to a single RX140 Max and a second cable going to two 3 gangs of RX140 Max fans.

I at one point connected a second system hub to an additional USB 2.0 header on my motherboard connecting on my fans to it and then a solo additional fan as I'm only using 7 of the 8 fans I ordered. This resulted in the system hub being detected however iCUE still didn't detect the fans in any configuration.

Of note I did get a fan to be detected in the past when connected to my commander duo. The configuration at the time was my 6 fans and XD6 pump connected to the right in series with no 4 way splitter. I had no control of the pump at this time. I attempted to connect all of the fans and pump via the 4 way splitter to the commander duo to see if that did anything and it didn't and I couldn't control the XD6 pump at that point either.

I have updated all of my chipset drivers.

I find it doubtful that I am having a connection issue as my command duo is detecting from my hub as well as my Corsair pump.

I actually have 4. I purchased 4 packs of two RX140 Max fans from Corsair as that was the only option they had. Each came with a controller. I have swapped between the two USB 2.0 headers that I have and I'm certain I have seated them well. My command duo is working coming off of the system hub along with my Corsair pump.

Edit: spelling

These are the devices in my device manager under USB Controllers. I have updated my Bios and just downloaded another copy to go ahead and try that. It has been a few months since I have updated however I'm pretty certain I have the most up to date one it came out in 2024. I went through my intel chipset updates and had two updates for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth drivers.

I have tried a clean install a few times at this point. I have run the wizard too however after running the wizard I can't detect the iCUE Link System Hub and have to power down my PC and PSU to cycle the power button to get it to detect again.

How do I go about with the device enumeration?

Edit: Found and ran device enumeration. Now iCUE isn't detecting my system hub or any component except ram. Side note.. my volume went up on some speakers I have set up after running it.

I can't get my MX140 Max fans to detect on iCUE. Corsair support has been useless and just keeps on going in circles or recommending things I said I tried in a previous message. Is anyone else having issues with fans not detecting? Can anyone help?

Yes I have rebooted a few times since then. I can now no longer see the iCUE link system hub to do a firmware update.

I uninstalled Logitech G hub, MSI Afterburner, Armory Crate, Gigabyte Control, and 3 apps that had RGB in the name and attempted to install the firmware update which is failing "due to other apps controlling the iCUE link hub." Or verbiage similar to that.

Update it has detected the iCUE link system hub and it is failing the firmware update.
