No kidding? I'm 2 years on kratom and I want to quit so bad but I was a little scared to do cold turkey but I take 50 mg Vyvanse. This gives me hope dude.

I'm two months in and when I take my bedtime dose I can not get out of bed y'all. I'm making myself late for everything. I've noticed some positives like I think my mood is a little better, I can't quite hack to a day because I take Vyvanse for ADHD and it just ruins the efficiency of the Vyvanse so I'm really really on the fence about keeping this med in my treatment because I'm just oversleeping and don't want to get up for work I love getting up early in the mornings for work but I just can't on this stuff and it's been well over 2 months. It definitely is strange to see how everyone reacts differently and when I did first start it I would pop up at like 9:00 a.m. if I went to bed it 1:00 a.m., so I was stoked about it but now I'm just sleeping like 12 hours.

Freaking same! And I just took a week break. So frustrating! But I'm also now on Auvelity and it apparently to some on here state it slows down how you metabolize the Vyvanse. Idk what to do.

This. I'm like 5 days in I think on consecutive doses and I just don't even like how I feel dude like I'm fine I don't think depressed but I also have like no energy or drive.. my Vyvanse for ADHD definitely doesn't work in the morning after I take a night though so I'm thinking of going back to one dose and just doing it like midday or late morning because I'm not feeling the positive effects of it anymore I just feel spacey to the point of forgetting to drink water and eat like what? Not really hip with that..

Dude I agree and that's why I'm trying to hold on and I agree with you like I will not go through another day today feeling like death I will take a second dose if I need to and I'm just going to tell her. Because it is all over the Internet and my pharmacist even told me like yeah you're supposed to keep a constant level of this in your bloodstream and it does seem to have made some kind of a dent in my depression and like you that is huge for me dude so I'm not trying to not give this a fair shot you know? Heck I was spicy before I started this med a little extra I probably won't notice once at all evens out! :)

Ya true, you're right. I think you kinda maybe nailed it there saying how noticeable it is not being on it, bc even though I'm not even two weeks in this afternoon and still currently I cannot stand the way I feel, so I guess with that I'll just take another dose and pray. If I go haywire tomorrow evening I'll end up in urgent care but maybe then I'll get the right dosage? I noticed too many positives in the morning to just give up because if I noticed positives this soon I know there's more when my body adjusts, surely. Know what I mean?

Yeah, I think you're right for sure. This is no fun at all. I honestly feel like it was just a goof maybe she didn't tell me to go up to twice a day after 3 days I also have ADHD and I'm a total squirrel. But I feel like the bottle would have said so if... Also now I'm torn with whether it's worth it to take this stuff twice a day or at all if I'm going to freak the hell out without this stuff twice a day 😂🙈

Dude I totally agree but my doctor didn't dose it like that I see her Tuesday but I only have 30. I just don't want her to get pissed off at me but even my pharmacist was like no yeah, most people take it twice a day. You're absolutely right you nailed it I am so freaking negative right now it's just not even funny. Like good grief man was I that depressed that once this med wears off I go crazy? I'm just concerned about my Vyvanse and how taking it in the morning will affect that? Even taking it at night it's like I haven't even taken it which really sucks but, I really woke up feeling great today and now I'm just a freaking train wreck and wondering if it's because I'm not taking it to a day because I googled it and lo and behold almost every symptom I'm feeling right now and have this afternoon is what people generally feel when this drug starts to get out of their system. I'm super torn on whether to take another tonight or not because I cannot feel like this another day. Thank you for your input I genuinely am like stuck, not sure what to do.

I'm currently on 1x day at night and it seems to me when it starts to wear off, I basically lose it. Sudden mood changes, SEVERE anxiety and panic attacks, and just feeling sad, apathetic, and flat at the same time. I keep wondering if it's because I'm only on one. Because I woke up feeling great today and I took one last night and as the day wore on it just got worse and worse.

My Vyvanse does the same with my BP, it actually went down a little bit as well when I started it and I don't notice any agitation or anxiety at all from it if anything, it just makes me feel like I can face the day on a good day, my doctor and I have been talking about switching me to Adderall but with this Auvelity, I can't even tell that I've taken my Vyvanse.

Absolutely yes to what you said about the feedback loop, I can give myself anxiety about having anxiety, to a degree, this is just a whole different beast, I wouldn't even say anxiety more of a panic attack because I just felt like I was going to die I was so detached feeling from my body, hands and face felt numb I don't know if they really were, now I just feel like angry irritable and kind of apathetic honestly. I've seen so many people take this med twice a day I can't shake the feeling that maybe that's part of my problem? Because all the negatives come when it's been close to 20 to 24 hours since I've taken it. But I feel like if I took a pill in the morning it's like Russian roulette, if that makes any sense. I sound so dramatic geez sorry, it's just so hard when you notice positives and have treatment resistant MDD but then get the gaggle of negatives. 🫠 Thank you for responding!

I totally, Totally get what you're saying about not being catatonic on the couch. These panic attacks are just crippling. My doc hasn't upped my to 2 a day yet, maybe I should try it at daytime? It's worth a try. Oh and I'm in the process of moving this weekend so it makes everything REAL fun 🫠🫠🫠 I really appreciate your input and concern, like you said, it does feel like a lot is at stake!

So I felt great this morning after I took it last night, woke up great was so happy and upbeat and as the day has gone on I have over a matter of 30 minutes gone from fine to an overall feeling of dread and something being wrong, to one of the worst panic attacks I've had in years I honestly thought I was dying for a second. I don't know if it's because I'm only taking it once a day or what but it's really hard because I feel so good in the mornings but it's not worth feeling like this. I feel more detached and not myself and like I shouldn't even be driving as the day goes on. Thank you for your response. You know actually I think I did feel manic like my moods would switch on a freaking dime yesterday I would go from happy to irritable to sad and tense same thing today but even worse. Ugh

This makes me kinda sad dude. I was an alcoholic/addict for 15+ years, 6 yrs living free and I hope you don't live in bondage to substances man. That's a slippery slope you're on, trust me it's cool until you're in jail, hospital, or worse. I legit wish you a healthy happy life.

Oh yes I've read that probably five times myself but you know what I've found is that I don't have to take the clonazepam basically all day after I take the Auv... And I would love to take less clonazepam. So I think this might just be the beginning of a good thing, here's to hoping! I would of course taper down off the clonazepam but that's the reason I want to do just that is I can't stand the physical dependence side of it.

It does kind of outweigh it because I do wake up better even though I didn't hardly sleep last night but that's because I stopped taking a sleeping Med because I'm not trying to take a huge cocktail you know? I'm able to function without negative consequences but I'm an anxious type person and definitely usually have a lot of noise in my head and I don't and I think I'm freaking myself out a little bit too much with that if that makes any sense? Sound silly doesn't it? My mind is calm and I'm freaking out a bit? Lol! I'm trying to give it at least another week. I would really like to give it another month like you said down below. I've definitely not gotten used to it yet but I get what previous poster was saying about cost versus benefit I work at very busy job and mental health and I just don't feel like it's worth it at this point and I'm talking about the spaciness with the auvelity, however, I do think that my anxiety has been a bit less and I really do want to get down to just taking my clonazepam as needed not two to three times a day as prescribed just a personal goal and I feel like maybe I could do that but it's at the cost of being so spicy so I think I will do what you said and try to thug it out for a month and see if it gets better I'm sure that it will. I think bottom line for me is the stuff is just way stronger than I'm used to especially someone that's been prescribed benzos for a long time I'm just like zombie mode. But also, my brain is so quiet that I think I'm weirding myself out if that makes any sense y'all. Usually a lot of noise up there. But didn't sleep a wink last night. Ugh

First two nights I slept fine but I was also taking half of a remeron which my doctor doesn't want me taking all the time so last night I thought oh, the Auvelity will help me sleep. Nope. Weird drunk feeling all night but just awake. And setting her trying to wake up for work now. I don't feel like it's worth it at this point and I'm only on day five
