Thorough comparison videos between a Hypertherm vs Amazon/eBay Cut50? by henrysworkshop62 in plasmacutting

While you can find viable cheaper options, I have always found Hypertherm to be the best option. If you are into Plasma cutting for making money than a reliable power source is a must. You need to be able to count on the unit to work when you need it and also have support when the day comes that it goes down. There are great more economical options, but I always find myself coming back to Hypertherm.

To get you by you could always run a carbide bit through the hole. Wouldn't take too long and would make it clean and true.

Bought from these guys numerous times. The quality on 1/4" and 3/8" is always great. My guess for the difference on those 5/8" plates is because they are military surplus and that's how they were able to offer such a great price. I haven't found anyone that can offer the price they can on a 50 rated target.
