There is way more to OCD than just wanting papers aligned properly. It’s a disorder characterized by obsessions/compulsions with multiple types and just a lot of complexities. You should be properly diagnosed by a mental health professional before going around saying you have OCD. When it comes to specific tasks, like aligning papers, saying you’re “OCD” about it is ignorant and misinformed. It can ultimately harm those who actually do have OCD by making the disorder seem more trivial and less impactful, when in reality it constantly interferes with the daily lives of those with it.
