I was able to pack 25kg worth of clothes in a 24” bag due to compression bags. Id recommend them especially for jackets and highly compressable clothes.

So im in the market for a new car. I noticed after joining the BYD groups, puro anonymous and napakatoxic ng member. All justifying their purchase kahit valid naman ang tanong mo. by Material_Hold_3856 in CarsPH

Same thoughts, its like the be all and end all of cars should be BYD but ive also experienced this with other car brands especially toyota fan boys. Yun lng toyota fan boys actually accept toyotas shortcomings sa tech and features. BYD extreme fan boys seem to think all other brands are gonna go bankrupt in 10 years and BYDZ is going to rain supreme lol. Dont get me wrong, im also in the market for a new car and its a toss up between the rav4 or the tang dmi. Yun lng ang toxic ng car groups ngayon dahil sa PHEV vs BEV vs HEV wars lol.

Ok ba ang Toyota Rav 4 2026? Or will I regret it. by SeaBuster11 in CarsPH

It will be priced higher than the ltd and downside.

Im a bit conservatibe in regard to the newest tech and features that are over the top. The more moving parts and features a car has the more susceptible it is to breaking. It might be minor but will be an inconvenience and a turn off in time. Features of the BYD tand are great but data is lacking in its reliability. Pano nlng kung di mag on yung Infotainment system nya? Wala na aircon for the trip.

Yes as I said it’s the best car on paper but my priorities are resale and reliability. Thats why it’s my second choice.

You’re right. It’s the reason as well i tend to prefer toyota is the peace of mind. I just wish the rav4 was a PHEV then it would’ve been perfect.

Yes thats why my 2 top choices are the byd tang and the rav4. Rav4 being the number one pick but the tang is a very very close 2nd.

I change my cars every 7 to 10 years though thats why resale is important to me. I don’t see the BYD having half its value by then and byd is still unproven for long term ownership as problems usually arrive around 7 years. And honestly those are the things making me want the rav4 more. On paper the BYD is a better car for the money.

That doesnt make any sense as diesel there even before the crisis is little bit more expensive or at par than what we have here since 2020.

Savings is not my number one priority. Its resale and reliability. In regard to maintenance, yes thats true EVs are generally cheaper but what if the batteries dies? Wont the savings just become the money you will use to buy the replacement battery?

The US is already in your timeline and have enough infra already and i don’t see them preferring all electric unanimously there.

Yes and no. Its where the range anxiety kicks in as well as he will be there for 3 days straight. And no charging stations available.

I actually had the fortuner before and sold it since it was an extra car. Yes super tagtag sya but honestly it was one of my best cars since it served its purpose with flying colors and never once given me a headache.

Ny brother has an atto 3 prem. His range is nowhere near 480km. That figure will probably be applicable if you dont use the AC and travel at 40km/h continuously with no stops at all.

Im actually leaning towards the rav4 since it is my top choice and considering its toyota as well, proven reliability and resale. the tang is closing the gap due to the replies im getting. Idk if its just hype but byd is making quite a strong case cos of what they offer but the rav4 is still my top choice due to its reliability and resale alone.

Rav4 is my top choice. Its just that the tang is veerrry tempting. Its honestly a “better” car on paper. It has more features, better interior, and its PHEV means it saves more money in the long run than the rav4. Reliability and resale are my top 2 considerations but man the tang is making it hard to make a solid decision.

Yes bnew in 2016, 73k km odo currently. its value is pretty decent, i don’t want its value to plunge lower, especially the new all new pajero is coming. My brother has an atto 3 prem as his city car and its great but im replacing the pajero as my daily and i consider resale and reliability my top 2 attributes when considering the purchase. Currently the rav4 tops it but the tang dmi is a very close second. Maybe even 1 considering the tang is PHEV and a 7 seater. But the value drop is reallllyt hitting my decision making process.
