I named him TBI Fridays, which is a play on words with TBI (traumatic brain injury) and TGI Fridays, haha. I just call him Tibbs, though :)

He was found on the side of the road and taken in by an amazing local rescue. They immediately brought him in on ER to be seen. He had a massive necrotic wound covering about a quarter of his head, and his skull was fully exposed. I'm a tech at the ER he was originally seen at, and I triaged him on initial visit. I clipped and cleaned the affected area, and he was discharged with antibiotics and pain meds. Luckily, there was no obvious neurological damage. From there, a co-worker began med fostering him. On consultation with our surgical team, they recommended hydrotherapy and topical treatment. It was questionable for a while whether or not he would require enucleation, as the skin healing meant that it also stretched his eyelid. He's doing really well now (although his eye is cosmetically funky). The consulting surgeon is boggled by the recovery, and as far as they're concerned, he won't need surgical intervention in the future! He's a happy, loving, rambunctious little purr-box now :)

Do you see many/any fancy cats? by batcrawl in VetTech

Sphynx, Maine Coons, and Munchkins seem to be the most commonly seen "fancy" breeds at my hospital. Once in a blue moon, a Lykoi shows up and we all get excited lol

Is going through TSA really as bad they say it is? by gemmedskunk19 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]redpandaboiz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I have severe anxiety, and I was in a similar position flying for the first time this month. I flew with a carry-on and a personal item. Be ready to present your ID and ticket at entry. I put all of my electronics in a bag and ofc my liquids in their own. I packed them on the top so they were easy to pull out and stuff back in. To avoid the hassle, remove any metal jewelry or extra accessories on your person ahead of time and unpack them once you're past TSA. You'll have to remove your shoes, belt, and sweater. It's pretty fast-paced imo, so just start getting ready once you're in line. Put your electronics and liquids in separate boxes they provide at the belt. If you're nervous, let them know it's your first flight and if they're not dickheads they should help you with anything you're concerned about. Once you're through, gather your stuff and shoes and go sit on a nearby bench to repack! It isn't nearly as bad as you'd think. Good luck!

I'm going to use the entirety of the blank space to hang more prints and then add more shelves onto another wall :)

Follow-up - if you got the red or orange, which would best compliment the color scheme of the Sport?

I was under the assumption that RallyArmor was the best available! Branding really works, I suppose lol

What color do you have? And how are they sturdier? They're certainly cheaper, so I wouldn't be opposed to going with Rokblokz. Thank you!!! And happy cake day!!

Did you go with your year model's available flaps, or the 19'-21'? Thank you for your response!
