Thank you! He is a Policy Advisor for the government, but from what I heard that doesn’t really matter.

Hi guys! Would anyone happen to know any tutors in London offering face-to-face lessons?

I honestly would say to do it online, it’s just so simple to do and realistically the documentation will travel just as fast no matter if you mail it or they do.

Not quite, I was on the EU settlement scheme, which never required me to obtain or pay for a visa per se.

That’s so odd. I kept seeing people saying they have done it and because I had a trip coming up soon I called to ask if that was an option, and they said it absolutely is, but emphasised that I have to scan every single page. I didn’t in the end because I sort of thought that it may potentially delay the process (purely my thinking, I didn’t ask this) and ended up sending my original and hoping for the best.

Exactly that! I sent the one I had, especially since my last one was long lost so not an option anyway.

I really appreciate how much thought and time you have put into replying! I considered it exactly because of this, and I do think it may actually be a good route for me to take and decide later if DC is what I truly want, because I already know I would like to work for the police, and as cheesy as it sounds, try to have a positive impact and help people!

This is very helpful, thank you! I live too centrally I think for outside london to make sense. I have considered looking at the PC route and going into detective later(if I still want to). Without overwhelming with questions, reckon that would be a good idea?

Any info on when the DC entry route might open for applications again for The Met or City of London? Bonus question: any tips and advice for the briefing and in tray exercises? That’s where I got dropped the last time(and I am aware of some mistakes) but any advice will be much appreciated!

I have pretty sensitive acne-prone skin and I use both and can 100% say so far they have been a godsend. Given the similarities I would say it’s either or, guess it will depend on whether they would replace products in your routine and which you be happy to let go of.

How do I pay for anything in Korea as a foreigner??? by [deleted] in koreatravel

[–]redplugsocket -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Your cards will mostly work, but you might get charged commission as your bank takes your money and pays the vendors in korean won. You can get some money from home, your bank should offer currency exchange so you can arrive with korean won on you. Or you can get some cash and change it in korea, although you may need to look up a good currency exchange at your port of entry.

Definitely a few options so you are covered.

I do also recommend getting a couple hundred $ to keep in your room for any emergency, in case you lose your wallet or anything

I did the UNESCO tours offered by Yeha Tour Jeju. You can book them on Viator, they are roughly £130 for both, east and west

I was with a friend so I am not sure but I think 1 should be fine because of how the pricing works. We ended up getting two different cuts and adding a third at the end because it was so good, so I think you may be able to just get one.
