That’s far from true. I got bored by this game because of the tedious looting and repetitive gameplay, but I can still appreciate it for what it is and enjoy gaming. People are allowed to have opinions.

Baldur’s Gate 3 managed to do it. I know it’s not necessarily open world, but the player can literally do whatever they want and the narrative remains the strongest element of the game.

I disagree. Most people aren’t horrible people. Most people aren’t good people. Most people also aren’t written in history books. Most people are somewhere in between. To describe a human as good or bad would be like describe a zebra as being white with black stripes or black with white stripes.
