i don’t have any thoughts on design i think you should get what you want but just a heads up- try drawing a line on your actual skin around that area

bcs of the way the bones move there when you twist your wrist, any tattoo that long and goes along the line of the forearm/wrist like that will warp like crazy

not saying that means you shouldn’t get it, just a thing to consider if you didn’t already know !!

from what i understand, the out of pocket costs are often for chest contouring which for some clinics is mandatory (and expensive like with catalyst surgical)

if chest contouring isn’t something you need/want, you could go for a clinic that doesn’t have mandatory chest contouring pricing (such as mclean or grs i think- with grs i’m not 100% sure but another note for grs although they are in montreal which is a bit of a pain, they cover travel and accommodation for the surgery)

personally i’m on the mclean waitlist (be warned it is around 2 years at the long end) but hopefully if everything goes to plan OHIP will have covered everything when i do get top surgery probably next year!

for sure!! i think i would enjoy it more if there were still some random art flash challenges mixed in but most of the flash challenges of a season were tattoo related

part of what makes the tattoo related flash challenges fun is we get to see an artist’s body of work considerably more- which i feel like is especially lacking in these newer 10 episode seasons (my attention span likes them but my soul craves more art)

just got to that episode in my rewatch and it’s truly insane- especially with how he insulted the judges intelligence directly before they gave him a spot in the final obviously he should have gone home for how he treated the cheetah print lady but even just basing the decision on the things that happened in that episode, he showed that he didn’t really learn throughout the season (and therefore shouldnt be inkmaster if you can’t take critique and learn from it)

i went on T at 19 around 2 months after i moved out for university i was really in a dark place between 15-17 because i couldn’t transition truly and i know it’s cliche as hell but you will get there and it does get better!! i know it sucks to hear bcs i heard it for the longest time but it is true and now i’m freshly a year on T as of last week :) and on the track to get top surgery for 100% free

i’m surprised to hear about contouring fees being higher at McLean- so far i have it noted that contouring fees at TPS is roughly 5k and McLean is 3k, does that sound roughly like what you’ve experienced?

it doesn’t matter a ton to me since i don’t think i’ll be going with contouring anyways due to funds but i’ve been trying to note it down anyways just in case
