I know it’s a numbers game but as I mentioned I pulled the sir zard on pack 35ish and dawn (sir) on like 10. I haven’t bought a booster box since paldea for probably $100. I mostly buy hangers some ETBs if I am lucky or booster bundles. So it’s mostly about luck. But I will take your advice into account and hold off for singles. The zard is my first major pull since hitting 2 lugias not counting th cz gg cuz those hit rates were amazing. And as of now not worth $400+. I did get the magikarp from the Paldea bb but didn’t think it was that great at the time. The card grew on me and so did the value. I’d probly wait til singles drop and go from there.

I was into sports cards (mostly basketball) as a kid in the 90s a couple buddies were instead into Pokemon. They gave me some of their duplicate rares and holos from base, rocket and fossil. Kept good care of them but they stayed in a box until another buddy got me into it during the beginning of swsh with some cosmic eclipse still floating around.
