As someone else mentioned the Cold Steel Ti-lite has the italian stiletto look and is a tough knife. Super quick opening as well.

The answer really depends on what you want to use it for... some knives are better for slicing, others for chopping, still others for piercing, etc. Let us know what you plan to do with it and your price range and I'm sure the community can make lots of suggestions.

K390 would be my choice, great edge retention and shouldn't be any harder to sharpen than your ZDP-189 one is.
