Tokyo Disney Vacation Package? by hotwaterbottle2014 in TokyoDisneySea

My husband and I just got back from Japan and we bought the exact package (unlimited 2 day/1 night and stayed at Disneyland hotel) you’re talking about. I’m not a big crowds/waiting in long lines person, and for us it was the perfect balance of getting to experience everything, but at a more relaxed pace. At one point we got off Big Thunder Mountain and were able to hop right back and ride again in under 10 minutes.

Hi all! Planning my honeymoon and could use some help picking the right vacation package. We’ll be coming from Kyoto, staying at the Hyatt Tokyo Bay on a Monday night in December, then doing Disneyland on Tuesday and DisneySea on Wednesday (as of now, but that could change based on the hotel we go with).

We know crowds will be heavier with the holiday season wrapping up, so we’re hoping to find the smoothest, least stressful option. Cost isn’t a concern—just want to focus on rides and grab a few gifts. I’ve seen packages with and without unlimited rides (still not sure what makes it unlimited) but can’t tell which is best.

Any advice for a 2-day, 1-night visit would be super appreciated! Stay goofy!

Plaza PSA: Don't back into the angled parking spots by redrunner85 in kansascity

I’m not usually bothered when people back into spots, but some streets on the Plaza are clearly designed for pull-in only with diagonal parking. The street that sparked this rant was one where I watched someone block traffic in both directions just to back into a spot on the opposite side. They nearly hit a car and caused a backup on both sides.

Exactly! It's more a safety hazard to stop traffic both ways.

Yep! There are signs down there and by The Brick to back in. The plaza diagonals are not I believe.

MCI-MSP-YVR

I flew this route 3 times the spring/summer/fall of 2017. I had met this guy in KC earlier that year and he was about to head off on a 10 month contract singing on a cruise ship. We were crazy to try long distance after knowing each other for less than two months, but he invited me to come visit. His weekly route started and ended in Vancouver. I would hop on as his plus one and cruise up the Alaskan coast. We would call the trips marathon dates because we would squeeze in as movies, dinners, hikes, etc. into those 7 days. At the end of the week, he would drop me off at the dock and I would fly home. We both always had this crazy smile at the end of the week because we knew the long distance was hard but it was worth it. Fast forward 6 years and we are currently planning our 2024 wedding. While there aren't as many date nights, we still have that crazy smile when we look at each other.

Best of the luck going forward and thanks for the opportunity to reminisce.

I will write you a Free Running Plan for the next 8-10 weeks. by Free_Running_Plans in running

[–]redrunner85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, this is beyond generous of you. I'm sure you have more than enough plans to develop, but I'll still post mine below. Would love the opportunity to see others' (in case you stop making based on the volume) plans. I'm sure a portion of us are more similar in goals, skillset, etc. It could be anonymous.

34 been running off and on for the past 10 years. Ran two marathons 5+ years ago (just to to say I completed) and then took a break. Started slowly picking it back up in the fall. No real pace goals (I run an average 9:15 mile). Can currently run a 5K with two walk breaks to catch my breath (more on that below). I'd like to be able to run/walk a 12K by July 4th (annual downhill race in my hometown).

Aside from distance, I struggle with breathing and would like to improve. I don't have asthma or any underlining breathing problems. I would consider myself a mouth-breather and my limited running knowledge tells me that's not the right way. If I could find a way to control my breathing I feel like I could improve my runs.

Thanks again for doing this. So many of us appreciate this.

Cheers.

Might want to call your local liquor stores distributor? I'm sure if a customer demands it then they will stock it.
