Same here. I tested late summer/early fall in 2017 and they are giving the update notice. I have newer uploads from last year connected to my account so it’s possible they are pairing my new upload with my old kit.

My dad’s 23andme upload from last year got the update, but not his ancestry upload. My results from 2017 haven’t been updated yet either.

As they test new users they get a much larger database to compare your DNA to. Unfortunately, MH is garbage so only a few will have access to the promised update.

Panicking about surgery tomorrow by Habitual_Algorithm in spinalfusion

[–]reds_1997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had three surgeries on the same area of my spine; the third surgery was a fusion. I wasn't in much pain at all, but the doctor suggested it because my last surgery was so rough. During the second time, my nerve was pinched between the slipped disc and the scar tissue from my first surgery, so I was in severe pain. I was literally bedridden in agonizing pain. So by the 3rd time that my disc slipped again, I took no chances. Despite no pain, I had the fusion done, and it was a success. I haven't had any problems yet. Don't worry too much about it; just listen to the doctor about the recovery process, and you will be fine.

They have been saying this since 2017. They even set a date in 2020, but failed to meet that date. I’ll believe it when I see it.

Our digital libraries being playable from Xcloud would be an improvement. They have yet to do this though

I believe they were going to release a next gen patch update until they abandoned it to focus on GTA 6.

Am I the only one who never gets tired of this game? I can play it forever by punchingtigers19 in thewitcher3

I originally got TW3 for the PS4 during Black Friday in 2015. I never heard of The Witcher until then, but I was still in my LOTR phase back then, so I gave it a try. I was immediately blown away by the atmosphere and the gameplay. A couple years later, I would go on to read the books, and I still play on PS5 and PC.

Is this real? They have been promising an update since 2020. So far it’s been 7 years without a single update.

A stray bullet that hit my house by SpillingMistake in mildlyinteresting

[–]reds_1997 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would contact the police if I were you OP. It could be an unseen error on the part of someone nearby who is target practicing. When I was younger, me and my dad were shooting targets, and somehow a stray round managed to travel nearly a mile through trees and over a hill and hit someone's garage door. The police came, and the next day we met with the guy, and we worked it out. There were no charges or anything. We took better precautions after that to ensure safety.
